Doc Johnson's Reflections Serenity is a great glass dildo for those who haven't had much experience with non-vibrating toys, and it's one of those that will stick around when you pass the learning curve. It pairs well with a vibrator held in the other hand, on its own; with a partner, or on your own. It won't be much use if you're looking for one that is harness-compatible, but the bulb at the end works well as a grip. Similarly, the bulb at the end is wide enough that I wouldn't be worried about using it anally. Serenity is double-ended, but only an experienced size-queen will be able to comfortably fit the bulb end in. Since it is made of glass, be cautious when wielding as to not bruise yourself or your playmate.

Serenity is slick black glass; there are no bumps or ridges to add extra stimulation, but I found it worked nicely without any. Glass toys are easy to clean, and solid enough to withstand chips or fractures where germs could hide. Serenity can be cooled down in the fridge or freezer, or heated up in hot water (just be careful with more extreme temperatures!).

Serenity is slightly curved to provide g-spot reach with a slight flare at one end and a larger bulb at the other end. I wouldn't count on being able to leave it out without someone realizing its functionality, but there isn't any glaring phallic realism. The bulb provides a good grip, although if it gets slick it can get a little difficult to handle. If you used it in reverse, there is only the barest of flare for hold, but it's doable.

If you're a size queen, stay away. Serenity is pretty slim overall, although the second end is quite large (too big for me). Anyone looking for a slender toy that still has a nice weight, this is it.

For a glass toy, Serenity is great. Obviously it won't be able to perform in a harness, but I'd be a little scared to have such a hard toy waving around from my nethers. I first used it with the girl who gifted it to me, and it was a great introduction to glass dildos. It stood up well with a Hitachi Wand hovering above, and was equally pleasing on my own, though using both hands with the dildo/vibe combo can be a little tiring.

As long as you wipe her down with a little toy cleaner or some soap and water, she's good to go. I would make sure to keep her in a safe place so the glass doesn't clang against other toys- wrapped up in a pouch is a good option.

The box it comes in is surprisingly well designed compared to toys of its price!
