The fling is an ergonomic marvel from Nobessesce, makers of the finest wood toys available on the market. The fling is expertly designed for personal use as well as partnered use, and is best suited for targeted (and intense) g-spot stimulation. It would also do well as a p-spot massager; and could actually feel generally quite nice as an all over body massager. Care should be used, however, when playing with the fling because it is so firm and targeted that it could irritate sensitive tissues if thrust too vigorously.

My Fling is made of "Purpleheart" wood, which was a nice surprise because Eden Fantasys doesn't let you choose wood type but Purpleheart is my top choice of all of Nobessence's wood colors. Nobessence seals its toys with a patented and secretive coating that renders the wood slick and completely sealed and non-porous. It makes the texture of the wood alluringly slick and glass like, and does wonderful things when coupled with lube.

The insertable part of the fling is much smaller than the bulge of the handle end. This can of course be discerned by looking at the photos, but it's worth emphasizing because I found it rather surprisingly small compared to the handle end. Long story short, this is a mild to moderately sized insertable toy, suitable for most users, boy and girl alike.

The Fling's curves are lovely. Held in hand it naturally slips into the crook of the palm, affording glorious maneuverability and power. The insertable end is a ball on a stick, of sorts, with thoughtfulness put into the overall curves so that it is easy to target the g-spot with little strain on the arm. Genius, if you ask me.

The Fling is best when wielded in the hands of a partner. For my anatomy, I would prefer the overall curve to be a bit more extreme for ease of use in solo play, but its pretty darned good nonetheless and rather easy to wield regardless. It's beautifully aligned for partner play, however. It is - in fact - freaking DEADLY in the hands of a partner; easy enough to wield at a variety of angles with ease and a hefty amount of pressure.

Nobessence Toys are coated with a coating they called Lubriosity, which is a bio-compatible polymer that acts as a non-porous coating on the hardwood. Care should be taken to avoid scratching or cutting the Fling in any way as piercing through the coating in some way would of course ruin that non-porous surface. Likewise, boiling is off limits as exposure to an elevated temperature would compromise the integrity of the coating over time. So, while the surface is non-porous, you're limited to cleaning with soap and (not hot) water, and santitizing by soaking in in 10% bleach for 10 mins. Storage is simple - place it back into its lovely box, or loose in a drawer, just don't let it get dinged up.

The Fling comes in a cool (and standard) Nobessence Box that can act as storage for the toy. The box is two piece and slices open to reveal a satin, cushioned interior with elastic loops for holding the toy in place. I am not a box keeper, so I would rather they toy be less costly and come in a simpler box, but then again - a special toy does deserve special storage and it is very nice to have perfect and easy to use storage provided with this toy.

Once upon a time I knew a very cool girl who had a Fling. I was enthralled with it and with her; but what I recall most clearly was how effortlessly it transmitted the intent of my hand's thrusts with graceful precision and the perfect amount of force. Finally getting a Fling of my own is like the completion of a multi-year tease: would *I* enjoy it as intensely as my dear friend had? Would this Don Juan of a sex toy live up to the legendary status earned from my memories of that afternoon fling I had with the Fling in my hands?

In short, yes. Yes it does - but only in the hands of a partner. Used solo, it's, like, 'whatever' - OK enough (and better than lots of toys out there), but nowhere near the toy of my toybox for solo g-spot massagers...but I seriously never ever want to see anything else in the hands of my partner when g-spot massage is on the menu.
