A-cute and impressive dildo
The Acute is an affordable, high quality dildo. Its size is not intimidating, so it's a great option for beginner to vaginal penetration or anal penetration.

Pros
100% Silicone, excellent shape for hitting the spot on a man or woman's anatomy.
Cons
May be too small for some, lint magnet.
I recently picked up the Tantus Acute on a whim. It wasn't a toy I had been lusting after. The price was right and I was looking for some new things to try out. I had heard good things about the dildo and Tantus toys in general so I figured why not buy it?
Apparently I'm terrible at judging sizes. Even with measurements clearly listed on Eden Fantasys and the actual size feature, I expected the Acute to be larger. It is actually pretty similar in size to an average penis. It's six inches long (five insertable) and 1 1/4" diameter. It's very light weight. Only about a quarter of a pound. I didn't get mine from Eden (I know, blasphemous!) so it's not the rich purple color shown on the site. Mine is a shimmery, gorgeous pink. It's like there's some fine glitter in the silicone, plus it's poured silicone so it's got a very pretty marbling pattern.
Acute is realistic is size and it's also shaped pretty similarly to a penis. Mostly. It has a bulbous head and a bit of texture. The underside of the shaft (assuming you've got the curve facing upward) is smooth. The top has four wide, gentle ridges and then the larger ridge of the head. The base is widely flared so that makes it safe for anal play -and- harness compatible (o-ring style harnesses). The only thing I noticed about the dildo, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, is the company logo. A lot of Tantus products have the logo stamped on the base. The logo on this toy seems to have been scratched in with a needle or something. I know it's not a knock-off or anything because I purchased it directly from the company, but it is kind of unprofessional looking.
The Acute is made from 100% silicone. It's a very firm, smooth silicone with very little drag to it. While it does bend, it doesn't have much give when you try to squeeze it. I think this enhances the ability to feel the texture. It's hypoallergenic, phthalates free, and sterilizable. Since it's designed for both g-spotting and p-spotting you could share this with your partner, so long as you sterilize it between holes. Boil it, stick it on the top rack of the dishwasher with no soap or wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution and you're good to go. Silicone tends to not play well with other silicone, so you'll want to use water or oil-based lubricants. It's quite a lint magnet so no matter where you store it you will likely wind up needing to wash it before using it.

Experience
Initially I was not too impressed with the Acute. I prefer my toys a little more girthy. I tried using this solo and also tried having my husband use it during foreplay. It really didn't do anything for me and I had resigned to toss it in the drawer with my other failed toys. Well, at least until my husband got brave enough to try it anally. We have discussed pegging a bit and he asked me to get us a harness. So I did. I thought he wanted it purely for pegging, but he wanted to try out the new dildos on me. Once he got settled into the harness and got the Acute positioned in the o-ring we found out that it is perfect. I stimulated my clit while he thrusted the acute against my g-spot and it wasn't long before I was having an incredible orgasm.
I think I may just be a lazy masturbator. Really though, I think it was the weight added behind the thrusts of the dildo that helped. Probably the angle too. The Acute is very light weight, and with it being so small it may not work out for people who like big toys. Anally and vaginally it's probably great for a beginner. It's a great option for working up to larger toys or your larger partner.

Thank you for viewing Acute – g spot dildo review page!
Good review!
It's too small for me, vaginally, but I find that it's *perfect* for anal use. It's the first dildo I was able to anally thrust with, actually.
@Britni We'll be trying it anally at some point.
@Toying Couple I sure will!
@Everyone Thanks so much for the comments and votes.
