Riding a suction cup dildo hands-free can be great, but if you’re like me, sometimes you just want someone else to do the work for you. A thrusting dildo or vibrator makes this possible even if you’re playing solo. I had been eyeing the Spirit Sex Machine since it's release, so when the opportunity to review it came up, I almost jumped out of my seat with enthusiasm.

It arrived in Eden's typical discreet packaging. The box for the product was inside a plain cardboard shipping container. I was impressed with the packaging itself. The external packaging itself is attractive and stylish.




Each component of the product has it's own spot to prevent shifting and noise during transport.



I removed the components of the toy. Spirit comes equipped with a charging cable, which is super convenient, because, who wants to mess with batteries or power cords. The box also contains a remote control that does not have replaceable batteries. With a toy like this, a remote is a definite bonus to avoid fumbling for hand controls, although it's not necessary for the operation of the product itself. The motor housing with a protective lid, suction cup, and of course, the dildo itself are also included.



The dildo itself is made from body-safe silicone. This is always my personal preference for sex toys because it is easy to clean using any silicone safe toy cleaner, 5% bleach solution or soap and water. It is non-porous and feels lifelike against my skin, especially if partnered with a water-based lubricant. The shaft of the dildo has a realistic texture with raised veins and a pronounced glans to give it a natural feel. It is a little floppy for my taste, this can make insertion a little more complicated at some angles; however, playing the devil's advocate, I see where a more rigid core could pose a problem when using the product at a higher level of thrusting.



I gave the Spirit 2 full hours to charge and then decided to see what it was made of. I assembled the various parts per the included directions and attached the suction cup to the tile wall in the bathroom. The suction cup is heavy-duty, it has a mechanism you turn to apply force to lock it in place. I was very impressed by the durability of the suction cup. I couldn't move it no matter how much force I applied. You can suction your machine to any smooth surface and adjust it 180 degrees for a hands-free penetration from any angle. Spirit is splash-proof but not submersible, so you'll want to be cautious if using it to steam up your shower time.

I powered on the product using the side controls on the base first. I cycled through each one to confirm they worked and then did the same with the remote to get a feel for the available options.

This innovative product also features a warming mode to bring the shaft to a more lifelike temperature, which adds to the luxury feel of this sex toy. Just press the flame button on the control panel to power on the heating mode, it will take 3-5 minutes to heat up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.



Once powered up, I immediately noticed this thing is loud! Make sure you don’t mind your roommates or neighbors hearing you play with this little robot friend. To provide the thrusting motion, there is an accordion-style billow around the base of the cock. I did find that this section of the toy tends to pinch my thighs and labia at certain angles, which is not pleasant.

This product is definitely one I recommend using a water-based lube with in order to achieve a smooth motion both vaginally and anally. If you bear down on the shaft, even at a higher setting, it will stall.

I found the thrusting modes are very similar to that of a Sawzall or jackhammer (I prefer a little more finesse.) The vibrations can be felt most intensely in the upper half of the shaft, which is nice. I like the rumbles targeted toward my G spot. I do wish the thrusting depth was a little deeper; I estimated it to be about an inch and a half (1.5) total.

However, the Spirit Sex Machine is portable and versatile. It can be enjoyed by anyone, pretty much anywhere, whether alone or with a partner. You can take turns using it on each other; let your partner pleasure you with it, allowing them to take full control with the remote. They can watch you pleasure yourself for a live-action porn role play or even simulate a threesome.

I have tried to use this toy a few more times and decided it is just not for me. Sad day.😒😒 The noise is too distracting (and way too much information for my neighbors) and the stalling at the slightest resistance make it merely an expensive mounted dildo.
