I came home from work late one Friday night to find that my house-mates had (very nicely) left a box for me on my bed, containing my brand new Briana harness by Doc Johnson.

Usually, Doc Johnson is one of my favorite brands, and I have another harness by them that I adore (see my other reviews). However, Briana fell short of the mark.

The harness was packaged very nicely, with each individual piece wrapped in plastic very tidily, but the dildo (blue and made of jelly) had a gouge out of its base. Jelly isn't my favorite material to begin with, for safety reasons I much prefer silicone, but when I am getting a product made of jelly, I expect it to arrive in good condition.

Anyhow, I pulled all of the pieces out and put them together. The process was fairly intuitive, which is good, because the harness didn't come with any instructions. This is a personal pet peeve of mine, because I like products to be usable by complete newbies to the world of sex toys.

Once I got it together, I strapped it on. I immediately didn't like it - unlike my other Doc Johnson harness, the straps cut into my legs, and I was unable to get a snug fit by tightening the waist strap.

Despite its problems, my girlfriend and I decided to try it out, so she lay down on the bed and I proceeded to... well, you know the rest. It didn't work as well as we would have liked. Because of the poor fit of the harness, not only was I uncomfortable, but I had very little leverage or flexibility to work with. After a few minutes, we gave up and switched back to the other harness.

I will say that the size of this dildo is excellent, and it's very pretty. Also, the harness doesn't have the overwhelming plastic smell that some harnesses have when they arrive. But overall, I was disappointed in this product. I expect better from an awesome brand like Doc Johnson.

Note - there is a special Vac-U-Lock lube included with the harness. It works extremely well for its intended purpose, but be careful - the powder will get everywhere if you aren't careful!
