I am very conflicted about my Vamp. I didn't buy it because of what it is themed from. I bought it because it was a more reasonable size than some of the other toys that I own for days when I don't want something huge. I can't really use this for that because of how firm it is. I like the feel and size of this, I just don't like how firm it is.
This is a firm silicone dildo. When it comes to dildos, I would call this one pretty average, but I am a bit of a size queen about my insertable toys. I have safely used this vaginally and anally because it has a flared base. If you are going to switch this between orifices or partners use a condom or sterilize it in between for safety.
This toy isn't small, but it isn't large either. If I were to compare this to a man, I would call this toy a somewhat above average size for a penis. This toy would be to small for me if it wasn't for the fact that the silicone this is made is really firm. I have Fibromyalgia, and I have noticed that firm toys hurt vaginally because I am very sensitive. Most people won't have this problem, but this toy fell into the "too firm" category.
The base on this makes a great handle, or if you have one, you can use this in a harness. I do not, so I couldn't test it in one.
I found that this toy retained temperature very well. It's not going to be as effective as glass for temperature play, but it definitely stayed cool the whole time I was playing with it. You can cool this down or warm it up by putting it in a bowl of water whatever temperature you'd like for about 15 minutes before play. Keeping it cool totally fits with the vampire theme this toy has going on.
I think that silicone is some kind of magic. It comes from unicorns or something. It is completely non porous, so it is super safe and easy to clean. It has an amazing smooth silky texture. I have found that all of my silicone toys have a different level of rigidity. This one is at the top of that scale. It does have some flex, but not a lot for a toy of it's size. It is very noticeably firm when in use. There is a huge upside to this in that it is great for stimulating the g-spot, but when you are sensitive to firmness, it can also be uncomfortable.
This has almost zero drag because it has a shiny finish. It has no taste or smell like all good quality silicone toys.
It does have a very mild texture of veins on it to simulate a real penis. The Vamp comes with a very prominent head that has a steep ridge and drop off to the shaft. All of these are apparent when in use because of how firm it is. I would say that this texture is alright for beginners that are comfortable with the size of this toy, but only then.
The vamp is obviously designed to be vampire-esque. It succeeds in my opinion. It is stiff and cool. It's a bit larger than the average male, but isn't porn star cock by any means. From base to tip it is 7.5" insertable which is a big difference from the product page listing that it is 6.25" insertable. At the widest part, the ridge of the head, it is 5.5" in circumference unlike the description which lists it as 5" in circumference.
This toy is probably too large for beginners, but a good fit for intermediate to advanced users. Even size queens may enjoy this because of the firmness.
I wouldn't call this toy discreet. You would be carrying around a pale, glittery, firm penis. It's not small with being 7.5" and all.
This has no moving parts and no electronic parts. Thus, it is of course completely water proof and can go with you on all of your aquatic adventures. This does not have a suction cup which makes me a little sad. It is harness compatible, but I don't have one, so I couldn't actually test that feature out.
Silicone can only be used with water based lubricants and needs to be stored away from other toys. I can sew, so I made a little bag for this, but you can also purchase one or keep it in the original packaging.
As for cleaning this, the toy itself doesn't have too many deep crevices that make it hard to clean, but you will want to pay special attention to under the head as fluids can build up there. I use a toy cleaner and warm water, but this can also be cleaned with soap and water, boiling it, throwing it in the top rack of the dishwasher, or wiping it with a 10% bleach solution.
I would not recommend the Vamp for people who don't like firm toys even though it is silicone. I certainly wouldn't recommend this as a first toy unless you are sure that this is an easy size for you. The firmness does lend itself to making a good anal toy, but if used for that, you're not going to want this to be a fist toy either.
I was so excited. This was my first silicone dildo. I picked it up on sale and couldn't wait to use it. I was so disappointed when it was so firm. I kept thinking "Well, cold and unforgiving is totally what fucking a vampire must be like." Which having coherent thoughts at all isn't what I normally want when trying to get off. I am hanging on to this because I want to experiment and play with it more, but I think this may not stay around.

I have found that this is just too firm for me. When it comes to picking out toys, I always pass this one over. It's too bad because I liked the size a lot.
