Weather Advisory: Enjoy the Tsunami!
If you want to make your next weather event one for the record books, look into the firm-yet-giving crests of the Tsunami. With fluting along the back and wave crests up the front designed to rock your opening with ocean swells, Tsunami delivers wonderful texture in a beautiful made-to-last form. Tantus forecasts earthshaking enjoyment from their platinum silicone, and these waves can be ridden vaginally, anally, or strapped on. Compared to Tsunami's crests, Echo and the Wave are all washed up.

Pros
Angular waves rock entry inches just right, slick back for easy insertion, PS spot/G spot versatile
Cons
It could have been blue?
A long time ago, there was a pretty wave textured dildo known as the Wave.
I like the texture of this dildo, and I was often sad that I couldn't recommend it to other people because it was discontinued. When I saw that Tantus was coming out with a new angular wave-textured dildo called the Tsunami, I was really excited---first, I know that everything Tantus produces is of top quality, so I wanted to try it regardless. I was really hoping, though, that I would finally have a dildo to recommend to everybody who would have liked a moderately aggressive wave texture up one side, and a nice slick texture down the other cast in body-friendly silicone. And having tried out the Tsunami, I am even more excited---thanks to the angles, the closer wave spacing at the vaginal entrance, and the slightly firmer silicone, the old Wave is all washed up---I like the Tsunami even better! Why use something that's just tidal when you can use something that starts with an earthquake?
CONSTRUCTION
Tsunami is lovingly made, from concept to final product, in the US by Tantus. As always, they use only body-safe dyes to complement their hypoallergenic, odor-free, body-safe platinum-cured silicone. They pour their silicone into this ergonomic form, and they make it as versatile as possible! Tsunami features a flared base which is perfect for harness use and all anal play. It also has a deep, functional bullet cavity, and comes with a Tantus-labeled Rocks Off 80mm bullet, for those who want to add some N-battery punch to their weather events.
The Tsunami has a slick finish, which means it glides well and shouldn't need much lube for use. It is also about in the middle of the flexibility spectrum---I can barely bend it to touch its base in the direction of its curve, but I can only bend it into a shallow U in the direction it's rubbing against your G (or P) spot, and it only gives a bit when squeezed.
DESIGN
There are two toys I'm tempted to compare Tsunami with---the Fun Factory Wave (above) and Tantus' own Echo. Of the three, I like Tsunami best. While Echo's ridges get shallower and shallower toward the base of the dildo, and Wave's get more pronounced but with further gaps between them, Tsunami's crests take the perfect approach.
The dildo leans in to your g-spot (rather than curving), and that lean is accompanied by a subtle crest. Then as you thrust deeper (close to Tsunami's full 6.75 insertable inches), you are met with amazing double-crests (a gentle little boost up to the real ridge) which rest naturally cradling your very entrance (vaginal and anal, it's the same experience). Thrusting the last crest (just under 6" circumference---diameter is tricky with this one) in and out is a fantastic way to build an orgasm, and these crests are just unparalleled. At the same time, the waves (smoothed down to ripples for the back) are giving the back wall of your vagina a good massage. And up all along the back side, there is very gentle fluting that gives just enough sensation without distracting your body from the Main Event ripples.
I find that I really enjoy slipping this in upside-down, starting off with the crests against my back wall, and then flipping them up to my g-spot and the top of my vaginal opening to really ride the shock waves home.

CARE
As with all Tantus toys, Tsunami comes in a stylish transparent package that is not strong enough for long term storage. Because Tsunami picks up a bit of lint (not as bad as most), either wiping it down before use or storing it in a Ziplock or organza bag is a good idea. After use, Tsunami can be sanitized with a 10% bleach solution or by boiling (remove the bullet first!), or simply washed with soap and water.
VIBRATION
Seriously, for me, Tsunami is so good for me that the bullet is less an extra shock and more an afterthought. If you enjoy a little extra tremor, though, this N-battery powered bullet (and the battery is included!) sends its vibrations through Tsunami's cavity very well. It's nicely strong and rumbly, and as I have a few of these from my various Tantus toys floating around, I can verify that they have good battery lives. They are also waterproof for easy cleaning, and they should be lubed up with a bit of water-based lube before plunking them into your toy.
FINAL THOUGHTS
If you've been looking for texture that'll cause the earth to shake, Tsunami has got it. Ride these crests until the oceans are moving. I realized as I was measuring this that the circumference of the largest crests make it seem like a bigger toy, but it doesn't feel very intimidating or stretch-inducing to me (unlike the Echo, whose tip is bigger than its shaft). I think that anyone who wants to insert this will be able to---and be able to enjoy it. I think that tsunami, the earthquake-precipitated wave, is going to have to move over in the dictionary. Definition 1) nautical. Natural disaster. Definition 2) sexual. The polar opposite of natural disaster.

Thank you for viewing Tsunami – strap-on g-spot dildo discontinued review page!
I love texture, but I'm wondering if this is redundant when I have the Echo and the Tiger. Nah, it's not, I'll get it anyway.
