The Lightening Element

Delta is a dual stimulating dildo that will be hit or miss for most. The arms are both extremely flexible and therefore might not provide the amount of pressure or stimulation that you might want. The girth is also lacking but that just makes it better for beginners to anal play.

Use

Delta is one of four of Tantus' elements line that's quickly disappearing. It was designed as a dual stimulator, aiming to please both the G-spot and the clitoris at the same time. The soft flexible arms don't put much pressure on either spot, but still manage to stimulate at least a little bit. If this doesn't do much for you vaginally, both the base and the clitoral nub make this safe for anal play.

Material / Texture

Delta is made of Tantus' very nice silicone. While it's non-porous and phthalates free, it does pick up a tiny bit of lint and holds onto scents a little bit. Things like cleaners and flavored lubes aren't the worst scents to leave behind, but if you do any butt play and it keeps that eau de butt, you can wash it really well then leave it to air out for a few days and that should take care of it. It has no taste to it, and is super squishy and flexible. While completely smooth, it does have a nice bit of drag to it.

Design / Shape / Size

Looking at Delta makes me think of those glass sculptures that were gotten by putting large metal rods into sand during a lightening storm with its elegant curves. It's a grand total of just over 5" tall, but you can really only insert about 3" before you run into the little clitoral nub that comes up about 1 1/4" from the main arm. The main arm is only 2 1/2" around, and has a tapered point designed for G-spot stimulation. The base is just over 3" long in the long direction and just over 2" wide the short way.

The bullet is about 2" long or so, and runs on 3 LR44 batteries. It's got one mode of vibration, and while not the loudest ever, isn't exactly whisper quiet either. Think like those really annoying cell phones that you can hear vibrate from across the room. It's also got a really nice o-ring on it, meaning that you can safely play in the shower as well.

Performance

While you can use this in a harness, the clit nub means that it'll probably work best in a female/female coupling. It does do nice things in the vagina. Otherwise if you can position it correctly you can insert the arm anally and the clit nub can stimulate the perineum. With slow thrusting, Delta doesn't feel like much; not really doing anything to the G-spot (at least for me) and just kinda poking at my clit. With some fast thrusting, all of a sudden I'm feeling something inside and that super flexible clit nub is working its magic and we all had a great time together. The vibrations from the bullet could be felt in my fingers through the base, and also very lightly in the clit nub. Not enough that just pressing and holding the toy in place would do anything, but enough that they provided a nice tickle while thrusting. It's not very thick, so it won't be very filling vaginally but is a nice size anally.

Care and Maintenance

Delta is super easy to take care of. Want to share it with partner? You can either use a condom, boil it, bleach it, or run it through the top shelf of the dishwasher. If you're not planning on sharing it, warm soapy water is plenty good cleaning. You can either store it in the original packaging or in a plastic bag or toy pouch. Because it's silicone you should stick with water based lubes unless you do a patch test and your silicone lube doesn't react.

Packaging

The packaging is pretty nice and very typical of Tantus. Delta sits inside a molded clamshell with the bullet, and all that goes inside a plastic box that tells you about Tantus's silicone and not necessarily about the toy itself. It can be given as a gift or used as storage if you like.

Experience

I was unsure of how I would like Delta's smaller stature at first, but I have grown to definitely enjoy it. My orgasms with Delta aren't anything mindblowing, but they are easily achievable and always pretty decent. Slow movements really don't do anything for me with it, but fast thrusting stimulated everything enough that I was able to finish in a reasonable amount of time. I don't think we're ever going to use it with a harness, but it is something my husband would be willing to play with and it's easy for both of us to control with our hands.

While it worked well for me, the small stature and flexibility of the arms might not be enough for everybody. The tip of the main arm does offer some G-spot stimulation, and the clit nub is flexible enough that you can easily move it to rest on top of, underneath, or jabbing right into your clit. If you've been looking for something that's small and flexible and offers dual stimulation, I'd get this while you still can.
