Pros
Excellent and adaptable harness, two high quality dildos, simple and effective vibe.
Cons
Vibrator is sort-of weak, dildos might be a bit small for some.
The Bend Over Beginner kit from Tantus is an example of a sex product done exactly right. Contained in this kit is a selection of toys that ANY toy connoisseur – from amateur to expert – should have in their collection. In addition to being a great collection worthy of bending-over activities, the items in this kit offer a huge range of possibilities and convenient uses.
The harness in this kit is a nylon double strap harness, identical to the harness offered in many other strap-on kits, as well as on its own as the Latigo leather harness. The pad on this harness is a purple velvet pad with a small pocket for a vibrator. It's nice because it's a bit plush, providing a cushion for the strapped on dildo to smash against. The positioning is a bit difficult to achieve, but the harness can be worn so that the purple pad holds the vibe on top of your clit. This harness is even easier to maneuver and move without the pad in place, and excels for use with an L-shaped double ended dildo.
The straps in this harness tighten and release via plastic easy-cinchers, (the kind found on backpack straps) and connect to the rubber o-ring with simple snaps. The o-ring is thus interchangeable, depending on the size required, and in fact this kit comes with two spare rings – a back-up medium and a small. These rings are made of rubber, which is porous and can't be disinfected – but rubber rings are cheap as can be and can even be swapped with a metal ring if desired. The largest rings stretch to accommodate attachments up to 2.25” in diameter, so there's a lot of room for growth and play.
The vibe included in this kit is a simple silver vibe featuring an o-ring and a simple push button off and on at one end. While it is hardly amazing, it's what I'd expect from a bullet vibe, and can be used interchangeable in other toys that take a vibe in their base. It is waterproof (!) and runs on two watch batteries.
The dildos included in the kit are the small and medium Silk, in purple. The small and medium Silk dildos are excellent first time dildo, OR first-time anal dildo, OR first time strap on dildo – meaning, they generally rock for all round usage. Using a strap on can be difficult the first few times, whether you're doing your partner anally or vaginally, these dildos are not going to poke uncomfortably, even when the thrusts are a little off target. This is especially important for anal sex, as the tissue of the anus needs to be treated tenderly and with respect – but is also important for vaginal sex, as sharp thrusts into a cervix can be very uncomfortable. Given that the strapper has no sensation in the strap-on dildo, the small and medium Silks are excellent for bend-over-beginners learning how to wield a strap-on.
This kit would also make an excellent entry into the arsenal of a more accomplished strapper, as the harness itself is easy to clean (washing machine), can be taken into the pool/shower/bath, and is cheap enough to replace if it gets fluid soaked by a casual partner whose STI status you are unsure about. Likewise, the Silk dildos are universally friendly enough that they could easily come out to play with anyone, although they are certainly on the smaller end of the spectrum, so a serious size queen might find them lacking.

One of the great things about this kit is that all of the individual pieces hold merit all by themselves. However, I have given it more thought and I feel that the kit would be better if the dildos were medium and large silks, not small and medium. Small is just way too small, and no more efficient than a finger for pegging (in fact, due to the fact that dildos have no nerve endings, it's possibly worse than a finger).
So, I change my recommendation. This is a good kit for someone with an established interest in pegging. Beginners should start with a finger or two. The small silk is a great dildo to have in your collection for other reasons - and is great for pegging by hand even. It's just way too short and little to use for a good old fashioned in and out session with a harness.

Thank you for viewing Bend over beginner harness kit – dildo harness review page!
I'm not sure the nylon can take machine washing; definitely hand washing and drip/dry. (I also think there is a stretch issue with nylon if it gets too wet, though it will dry.)
@PurpleReign My nylon has done alright with washing in machine, it just gets the delicate treatment and no dryer. Containing it in a mesh bag before washing would be a good idea. Hand washing is pretty easy too. Nylon stretches 10% or so when wet, but dries back to its normal size, so if you use the harness in the shower it will need to be tightened when its wet!
