Pros
Made of silicone, fits Tantus toys as well as others with removable bullets.
Cons
Can be difficult to fully insert into firmer toys, some toys are a bit floppy.
If you want to use your favorite vibrator that has a removable bullet hands free in the shower or tub, or just attach it to a wall or hard surface, this is the accessory that will make it happen. The suction cup from Tantus allows you to turn any toy with a hole in its base into a dildo that can be attached to most flat, smooth surfaces. It can be used with any Tantus toy that uses a bullet and is also compatible with other toys with a similar size opening in the base.
The suction cup comes in an easy-to-open clamshell case, with the suction cup visible. The packaging has product information about the material and the item, and states that it is manufactured 100% green.
This toy accessory is black and made from 100% silicone. It has no smell or taste. It’s hypoallergenic, phthalates-free, hygienic, and non-toxic, and shiny and smooth to the touch. It can safely be used in the shower or bath.
It can be washed with antibacterial soap and water, boiled, or run through the dishwasher on the top rack. It can also be cleaned with a 10% bleach solution. It should be dried before storage, and it can be stored in its packaging or upright. It's best not to store it inserted inserted in any toys.
The suction cup is 3” long overall from its tip to the bottom of the un-plunged base. The plug is 2” long and 3/4" in diameter at its widest over the ridges. The two ridges, one 1/4" down its length and the other at 1 1/4" down, assist in keeping the attached toy in place. The ridges add about 1/8” to the diameter of the plug.
The actual cup is 3” wide and 3/4" high when un-suctioned. It flattens to 3 1/4" wide when fully pressed down.
The suction cup is solid and well made. It has a slight noticeable seam that runs up one side, but the seam can barely be felt and does not impact the use of the cup. The insertable plug is somewhat flexible, but rigid enough to not bend when inserted in a toy’s base if the toy isn't too long. The ridges on the plug help hold it inside the toy.
This is designed to be plunged onto surfaces, forcing out the air underneath and causing a seal to form between the cup and the surface. The suction will be stronger or weaker depending on the type of surface.
The suction cup is easier to insert and remove with softer toys. If the toy is made from a harder silicone without much give in the bullet hole, it can be tricky to insert the suction cup entirely into the base. Firm pressing of the cup base below the plug, paired with firmly pressing the dildo from above, will get the plug seated as far in as it will go. While the attached dildo will be floppier when the plug is not all the way in, it will still hold it to the surface firmly. Removing the suction cup from a harder toy will require more force, and the plug will come free with a satisfying whoosh.
With softer silicone the plug is easy to insert all the way to the cup, provided the bullet hole is as long as the plug. When fully inserted the plug keeps the toy fairly stable, although it does also depend on the weight and length of the dildo attached. The plug is much easier to remove and can easily be done by grasping the base and gently pulling the plug from the toy.
With either material (harder or softer), the plug stays firmly seated and does not pull out or come loose during use.
The suction cup is easy to use. Once it’s inserted in the toy’s base, simply press down firmly to create the seal between the cup and the surface. Whether attached to the wall or a level surface, the cup retains its suction and doesn’t slide. Even in the shower on a wet wall the suction cup stays in place. It sticks to tile, smooth walls, firm leather, and even PVC coverings.

Experience
I was really excited to get this. I have a fair number of toys that I’ve always wanted to use this way but had no way to do so.
The first one I tried this with was the Tantus Sherbet. This was actually the first toy I reviewed a long time ago. The bullet for the Sherbet was always hard to insert and remove, and the suction cup proved no different. The Sherbet is a hard, firm silicone, and I couldn’t get the plug into the base all the way. I got it in far enough, however, to make it work. The Sherbet was a little floppy, but it was easy enough to position and it didn’t slide around when in use.
The Tantus Buzz 1 was next. This is also a harder silicone, but I was able to get the plug farther in the hole.
Next up was the Tantus Pro Touch. Even though this toy is quite a bit smaller, the suction cup’s plug went in without too much effort. The Pro Touch is also lighter, so even without the plug seated all the way in it was more stable than some of the heavier toys.
Last up for Tantus was the Rascal O2. This toy is a softer silicone with a slightly larger bullet hole, and the plug slid right into place.
The suction cup also worked with one of my favorite non-Tantus toys, the Smooth Operator by Vixen Creations. This one is softer silicone as well, and the plug seated firmly inside.
As long as the suction cup’s plug goes in past the first rib, the toy will stay in place, although it will require initial support so the weight doesn’t pull the cup off of he surface.
The suction of the cup is pretty strong. It adhered well to both wet and dry bathroom tile. It also suctions to smooth wall. I was able to get a suction on a PVC surface (the Equus), and while it would not hold on the side, when placed on the top it had enough suction to enable the toy to stay in place for hands-free use.
The suction cup also attached well to leather. I tried this on my recumbent bicycle seat, and it kept the toy in place although it was much more stable with the toys that allowed the plug to be fully inserted. This could prove a promising incentive to exercise more.
I could not get this to attach to glass, but I can’t imagine when that will be necessary for me.
I have some pictures up on my blog here if you'd like to see the cup in action.

Follow-up commentary

If I didn't have the Wing, I would say this is the best accessory I own. The suction is amazing and I haven't had much of a problem with this pulling off of the surface I attach it to. This is great fun to use in the bath and on top of the Equus as well. While it hasn't proved an incentive for me to ride my bike more, it's definitely enhanced our play.
The suction cup has remained intact, with no ripping, stretching, or lack of suction and is very well made. I'd still highly recommend this one!
