The fabulous folks at Aslan Leather, who brought you stellar products like the Jaguar Harness, the harness that set the bar for all other harnesses to be judged by, bring you into a whole new realm: rubber. Black rubber with steel hardware.

No, it does not smell like a new tire, much to my disappointment, but it is sturdy despite its lack of O-ring to stabilize a dildo, it works..(if you use a thicker dil, and I will get into that momentarily). Aslan states that "No O-ring creates more intimacy and less chance of bruising from heavy thrusting". How thoughtful! It suggests uses in a shower or a tub, but heavy thrusting into a vagina in a tub or under water can create a situation of air or fluid emboli from vigorous thrusting. In some cases of underwater sex, air or water bubbles have entered through the vaginal canal, through the cervix and into the blood stream. Deaths have occurred through embolic showers, pulmonary emboli, myocardial infarctions and cva (strokes). Be gentle. If you are thrusting under water remember that it is not a toilet you are plunging. Anyway, got to throw that in because I am in the medical field and have seen unfortunate cases.

Anyway, back to my great new harness. You won't want to wear it if you have a rubber allergy, or perhaps a latex, banana or avocado allergy (these are all cross allergens). You will want to wear it if you want a sturdy harness that holds larger dildos. Since it has no O ring or any embellishment other than heavy grommets and buckles holding it together, you are going to want a dildo close to an inch and three quarters in diameter. That's about the size of the opening. Otherwise, your dildo will shift all over the place. I found Goodfella, Bandit, Silky by Vibratex, Leo, and Mustang are good dildos for this harness. Just under 2 inches will fit you fine.

The harness rides low and the window is at most female person's mons pubis area. It is a G string, it has three levels of snap adjustment in the back at your tailbone area, the string is thick enough (it's rubber) to hold a butt plug in your ass at the same time.

This harness fits hips up to 44 inches. They make a large that will fit people with hips up to 56 inches as well.There are no D rings to fuss with. Each side of the hip has an individual adjustment. There are a generous 14 holes on each side of the hip so you can tighten, loosen, etc, with great ease.

The rubber is not flimsy. It is slightly thicker than the Aslan Jaguar Leather Harness, or about as thick as a bike tire and made of core leather. It washes easily in soap and water or dish detergent and remember to dry the hardware or it will tarnish. Or you can cover the hardware with clear or sparkle nail varnish and alleviate this possibility. I don't mind a little rust, everything in Hawaii has rust.....

I love this harness. I'm very opinionated about my products. I love my Jaguar Harnesses (Black, red, white and silver!) I used my Aslan Prince for shower fun, (but this may replace that as well), and I totally hated the Commando because it bled color (everywhere, I had it etched on my pelvis in blue green).

For rubber it is very comfortable, sort of like scuba diving material. Doesn't bleed, is really comfortable and clean up is easy. It's also vegan friendly for people who live lower on the food chain, albeit it is made of petroleum byproducts.

Would I buy it as a gift or again or if it came in different colors? Is the Pope Catholic? It's a well made, high quality product that would be very hard to break even in rough, on-land kink play. Did I already say I LOVE this harness?

I found the thicker the base of the dildo, especially ones with soft, thick bases like Silky, work best for comfort and stability. Remember if you are pegging with this, you are not going to be very successful with dildos that are an inch, or an inch and a half....The window is just under 2 inches (1 7/8 on my tape)so try inch and three quarter dildos for the best success.

This harness has kept its shape and is up there with my all time favorites. If it had a chrome O ring, it would be perfect!!! Very durably made.
