Slick and stylish!
Overall, the Acute is a great beginner toy for both guys and girls alike. Its modest size, proper construction, and unintimidating appearance makes for a toy that has a place in everyone's toybox. It has no bells or whistles, but it serves its purpose extremely well.

Pros
Modestly sized, can be sterilized, base provides a good handle, smooth
Cons
A touch too flexible, collects lint
I received this toy a little while back, and being honest, I was pretty excited. It's my first dildo that is somewhat anatomical. I am a huge fan of my Ella by Lelo, but I wanted something a little more realistic without being a penis clone. I hate veiny, flesh-colored cock imposters. They squick me out. When I had a chance to review something that was penis shaped without trying to look like a penis, I jumped on it. Thus, the Tantus Acute came into my life.
I received the pearly white version of the Acute in the mail three days after it was ordered. It arrived in a clear plastic box. To be honest, it was smaller than I expected, but it was no dinky, puny thing. I pulled it out of its packaging to have a better look. Like all of Tantus' silicone, it's very soft and pliable yet firm at the same time. It stands straight up if you put its base on a flat surface, but it bends and curves easily. The toy has a solid base if you would like to use it in a strap-on harness, but it provides a very convenient hand-hold for stand-alone usage of the toy. I decided to take advantage of the awesome properties of the silicone material and dropped it into a pot of boiling water to sterilize it before giving it a test run.
After my toy cooled down, I took it to the bedroom with my boyfriend and we decided to give it a go. As the toy is made of silicone, we used water-based lube to slick up my new toy. I put a little water-based lube on myself, and I slid the toy in. I was impressed how quickly the silicone warmed up to my body temperature. The smooth surface of the toy worked very well in conjunction with the water based lube, so it slid in and out without any resistance. It was very pleasurable to feel how smoothly it slid in and out of me, and I thoroughly enjoyed that sensation. The "head" of the toy is modestly pronounced and I hoped it might stimulate my g-spot a bit, but no such luck. Even me trying to pivot the toy to hit said g-spot was unsuccessful due to its ability to readily bend and curve as I mentioned earlier. Cleaning the toy was super easy. A little soap and water and the lube washed right off. The surface of the toy is a touch sticky, being silicone and all, so it might be worth getting a satin or polyester bag to put it in so it doesn't gather lint.
The toy itself is pretty modestly sized at about six inches long with a four inch circumference. It will not impress your size-queens, to be sure, but it's not tiny. It would make an excellent dildo for girls just starting out exploring penetration or guys who occasionally indulge in anal play, either alone or with a partner.

I wonder why this one is cheaper and why it is not shown on the same page as the purple. Kind of weird.
