Raquel review
This beautiful, soft and flexible dildo fits like a glove because it fits you. Its ideal length and bendability make it ideal for harness use, but it's also fantastic manually. It's a staple toy in my sex life!
Published:
Pros
ideal length; bendable & soft with a firm core, aesthetically pleasing, transmits vibrations
Cons
bites marks don't fade; perhaps too soft for some tastes; no pocket for mini vibrating bullet
Raquel|Raquel Dildo by Vixen Creations is a staple in my sex life, mostly because of her ideal length. I find that I'd like to add an inch or two to most of the dildos in my collection to enable penetration in a variety of positions--six inches is just not enough for sustained, energetic thrusting from the rear without constant slip outs if your partner has a nice, round ass! With almost 8 inches of insertable length, Raquel is the perfect length for me: long enough for most positions, but not so long it's unwieldy.
Raquel is also gorgeous to look at and wonderful to touch. Raquel has a firm but flexible stem inside that extends about 80% of the total length, surrounded by semi-squishy vixskin that has all of the hygienic benefits of silicone. It does beg to be licked and sucked! Beware: bite marks will stay pretty permanently on this squishy dildo. The base is a little bit thicker than the average dildo base, and it doesn't let the harness lie completely flat against your body. You might want to consider this in light of the construction of your own harness, but it doesn't pose any real problem with my Outlaw harness|Annie-O - Double strap harness by Outlaw Leather. Also, the base does make for a comfy handle for manual use.
She's quite bendable, which is great for accommodating a lot of positions, but you might want to have a harder alternative in your collection for those times when you want rougher sex. On the other hand, the flexibility and softness would probably appeal to most people at least some of the time. Actually, some friends of mine tell me they use the Raquel exclusively. Also, those people who find that inflexible dildos designed to hit the g-spot just don't seem to fit their vaginas will find that this dildo works wonders. It fits like a glove because it fits you.
It does come in nicer packaging (a plastic cylinder) than your average sex toy, one that might be used for permanent storage if you're willing to fidget popping in and out the plastic lid, but I find it's most convenient to store this and all my toys in the Nymphomation Toy Chest|For your nymphomation adult toy chest.
Finally, Raquel's flexibility allows it to transmit vibrations that send my girlfriend to the moon when I use it manually with or without a vibrator touching the base. It transmits vibrations beautifully, and even without a vibrator, it feels better than a hard dildo when you use it manually because it just moves more. It does not have a pocket for a mini bullet vibrator|Egg and Bullet vibrators, and I can see how the addition of one might pose engineering challenges, but it would make it ideal.

The O2 Niagara by Tantus|02 Niagara - Strap-on dildos, I just discovered, accomodates a vibrating bullet inside and is a little longer and firmer than the Raquel. That sounds right up my ally! I think I just found my next purchase...

Thank you for viewing Raquel – g spot dildo review page!
But the Raquel is wonderful, isn't she? Thanks for pointing out the bite mark bit; that *is* one problem with silicone cocks. I keep mine in her cylinder, to combat lint and such, but then I put the whole plastic thing IN my Nyphomation case.
Well written review!
