The Love Rider Thruster kit is an okay choice of a kit for someone who wants to start off with beginner strap-on sex. The dildo vibrates in the right places, and the harness is definitely functional while the set is easy to use. I recommend this more for vaginal sex than anal sex as the vagina will be able to more readily take those ridges on the dildo, but it's really up to your personal preference!

As this is pretty similar to some of the items from the Pipedream Silicone Elite line, quick comparison:
Feature/toy-wise, I prefer the Pipedream Silicone Elite products. The silicone feels smoother, the remote feels more put-together, and the attached belt clip with their vibrating dildo toys means you can attach the remote to ANY harness - not just the harness that comes with it.
Price-wise, as you have to buy the harness/dildo separately in the Pipedream set, it ends up being around $75-85 - depending on what dildo you get and assuming you buy the Pipedream Elite Beginner's Harness. This set ends up being around $65 for both harness and dildo. So this set is definitely cheaper if money is a factor, and you're not really "losing" all that much. You're losing the ability to easily holster the vibrating dildo on another harness and the sleek put-together-ness of the Pipedream set, but it's still pretty comparable. Just personal preference!
When compared to other jelly-toy-including-beginner-harness sets, though, this wins over those hands down.
