Peter Piper Packed a Pecker
Need a packer harness? Check out this fabulous addition to the Spareparts line of products! This is probably the most comfortable "harness" I've ever worn and it really does help with the realism. Also, because it's a jock design you can easily wear another garment such as boxers, briefs or boxer-briefs on top of it. Fabulous buy! I couldn't be more pleased!

The Pete Commando packer is a wonderful addition to the already fabulous line of Spareparts products. It's soft and feels really good and the quality of the material is unbelievable. They really made this product to last.
Spareparts had the forethought to include a black and white 8.5" x 11" instruction sheet and a plastic bag to help slide the soft packing dildo through the opening. I have the Mr. Limpy Small packing dildo. It was really easy to slip through the opening in the center panel, but I'll get to that in a minute.
I ordered Pete in a size small, according to Spareparts sizing chart it fits waists from 28" to 30". My hips, where this sits, are 26-27". Pete is not snug or tight on me, nor does it slide off when I walk or move. And it was not at all difficult to slip my size 0 jeans over it. However, I have to wear it fairly high up on my hips. With the low-rise style of pants that are fashionable these days, I had to tuck the waist band into my pants once I had them on. Although, I think men's clothing is typically more high waisted than women's clothing is. I made this purchase for my own in-home gender play and don't really have any plans to wear it in public. I am able to see a faint line from the back straps through my very tight jeans, but again men's clothing is typically loose fitting, assuming we aren't talking about skinny jeans.
Pete is 88% Nylon and 12% Spandex. This garment should be washed before and after each use. Do not use bleach or fabric softener with this product. Fabric softener creates a build-up on fabric, preventing them from absorbing moisture, which is not a good thing when it comes to something that's going to be close to the vagina for a long period of time. You will sweat, no questions about it. This also must be line dried or laid flat to dry, no iron and had or machine wash cold on the delicate cycle separately from other garments.
To insert the packing dildo you flip the garment over, logo side down. As mentioned above Spareparts included a plastic bag to slide over the packer and then slip into the center panel's opening. I found that it was difficult to slide the bag over the Supersoft material of Mr. Limpy and I ended up just pulling it straight through because the bag wouldn't slide off smoothly. I figure a little lube can fix that problem, but I didn't have any issue getting it in the packer harness without the bag. In fact, it was a lot easier. For Mr. Limpy it is essential you use the elastic strip to hold the balls in place. I prefer to keep the panels closed in the back to keep it off my skin, but that's a matter of personal preference. After you have the packer centered, you can adjust it to one side or the other or keep it in the center if you wish. Pulling it out of the front panel opening, like one would if they were wearing boxers is also really easy, though it puts the packer at an awkward angle. It rests on my thigh instead of meandering to the middle and just hanging there. The product picture shows that the packer sits perfectly in the middle--- it doesn't. The hole in the top panel is at the very top and off to the right, not in the center. Here are the pictures I took of the packer in action. There are pictures of me wearing it and of the process to get the packer in the harness.
While this harness is made for soft packing, I did insert a 9" TPR dildo with a huge base through the center panel opening. It's rather awkward and is a tight fit but it's useful for the purpose I want it for--- bi-sexual oral fantasies. This is definitely not for pegging. There's just no way to get a dildo to work properly because of the interference of the top panel that covers the packer.
My overall opinion of this packer is that it is really an essential element in one's tool kit. It's incredibly comfortable, very easy to take care and made really well. I was very impressed. The packaging is simple and convenient to use as storage if you want to set it aside for a day or two, but I really can't see why you would. I hope everyone who is interested in a product like this does not hesitate to try it out; I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Experience
Edit: 9:01 PM Aug. 10th, 2011--- I lied. The packing dildo can be centered. I just didn't pull the fabric far enough aside. Husband was very surprised and thrilled. He pulled and separated each piece, discovering the harness's secrets. It's been very well received thus far.
Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
I still like this piece, but the straps can get kind of annoying as they like to roll up over my butt and twist themselves. Overall, it's still more comfortable than I could have imagined. I did manage to rip the center seam where the dildo goes because I was testing to see just how large of a piece it could hold. The dildo that ripped the seam was 6" in circumference, it was easily fixed with a few simple stitches of thread.
