The Joque by SpareParts HardWear is a two-strap style harness. Much like the name suggests, it fits like a jock strap...just more adjustable and a whole lot sexier! The silky elastic waist band is about two inches wide. The thigh straps are 3/4 of an inch wide and also made from the same silky elastic. The pouch is made from a 77/23 nylon/spandex mix. This material is very soft, very silky, and conforms comfortably to your curves. The thigh straps have the benefit of providing a nice little butt lift which further accentuates the wearer's backside. (Note: the new design has replaced the large white tag with a silk screen logo on the center front of the waistband.)


Getting into the Joque is super easy. It's simply a matter of stepping into the loops, pulling it up and then tightening the straps. Before stepping in for the first time, we recommend loosening the buckles all the way. Once the initial fit is done, future fittings will be even easier.


The Joque has six basic adjustments for achieving an amazing fit. All adjustments are done with either slide buckles or Velcro tabs. There are four buckles: two for the thigh straps and two on the waistband. The waistband also has two Velcro tabs that fasten around the back and are used for taking up large amounts of slack. With these six simple fasteners you can achieve a secure and comfortable fit. There are no D-rings to pinch you and no holes in the wrong places to try to fasten buckles into. There are just six basic adjustments are you are ready to peg. These adjustments also allow the Joque to be worn by people with varying body types. The harness only comes in two sizes, but given the variability in adjustments, most people should find one that fits them well.


The Joque has an opening in the back of pouch through which you insert the dildo. Closing the back of the pouch provides a comfortable barrier between the wearer's skin and the base of the dildo. Alternatively, the pouch can be left open while using a double-ended dildo. If you and your partner are into packing, the Joque is an excellent choice. The pouch will hold the scrotum while the limp penis goes through the hole. Because the Joque is so comfortable, it can easily be worn for hours at a time.


The O-ring in SpareParts harnesses is a mystery to us. It is made from some sort of elastic fully encased by the pouch material. It easily accommodates a number of different dildo girths. We tried the Joque with a narrow, a medium and a large (1.75 inches) diameter dildo and each were held effectively. We did not try this harness with a 2 inch dildo because I was afraid to either damage the dildo or the harness.


The angle at which the Joque holds the dildo is very good for pegging. The opening is directly over Mrs. Peg's pubic bone. This allows for very natural thrusting movements and provides a natural look when using a realistic dildo.


The Joque is made from all man-made materials which makes it both vegan-friendly and waterproof. Unlike a leather harness, it can go directly into the washing machine when you are done playing. Just be careful what you wash it with and make sure the Velcro tabs are secured. Because it is waterproof, the Joque can be used in the shower, the tub, the pool, or any other place where you are going to get really wet.


It should be noted that access to the wearer's lady parts is somewhat restricted by the length of the pouch. This is in contrast to many other two-strap style harnesses that provide more exposure. While the pouch does obscure access, its length is one of the features that make the Joque so very comfortable. Unless you are interested in having access to the wearer's genitals during play, this shouldn't ever be a consideration. For us, it just means I can't be inside of Mrs. Peg while she is wearing the Joque.


The Joque dildo harness by SpareParts HardWear is a well-designed piece of pegging gear that is both beautiful and functional . It is perfect for pegging and packing and comfortable enough to be worn for long periods of time. Because it fits close to the body without a lot of bulk, it can also be worn under clothing with ease. We love this harness and have not gone back to our leather harnesses since we received it.
