Not a multi-tasker, but it works

The soft, bendy qualities of the Orbit make it difficult to insert and nearly impossible to thrust with. However, those same qualities make it an excellent choice for g-spot stimulation for the wearer of a strap-on, whether that person is fucking or jacking off with it.

extremely useful review
In its clear, cylindrical packaging, the Orbit dildo|Dildo by Vixen Creations looks a lot like a strange alien creature suspended in a test tube. It looked like it was awaiting some experimentation, which I was more than happy to provide. I was surprised, upon first pulling it out of the box, at how soft this dildo is. It has a solid core wrapped in a softer silicone called VixSkin, which is meant to imitate real skin in look and feel (although if that's what you're after, the bright blue color and funky shape do ruin the illusion).

What's really cool about VixSkin is that, although it's softer and more pliable than your typical silicone, it's still just as non-porous (read: can be sterilized) and body-friendly. However, I found that texture to be less than appealing as it evoked, for me, flaccid penis (bright blue flaccid penis, as I said, but flaccid nonetheless) and presented the same problem – flaccid anything does not make for easy or pleasurable penetration. Even when well-lubed, the Orbit tended to squish back or bend away when I tried to insert it. The same squishy quality that made it difficult to insert the toy in my vagina made it absolutely impossible to get it into my butt. Thrusting was likewise impossible.

Not ready to give up on this toy just yet, I discovered it does have some great uses. Once in my vagina and left there, it's a great shape for gentle g-spot stimulation and provides something for the vaginal muscles to grab on to, so to speak, during orgasm from clit stimulation. It has one absolutely outstanding use: the Orbit is great to wear on the inside of a strap-on while the wearer fucks someone else. Its softness and flexibility prevents the ouchies that a stiffer dildo would inflict in this situation, especially if you like to move around a lot. It puts a nice amount of pressure on the wearer's g-spot with every thrust, and the little nub on the base rubs against her clit in certain positions – bingo, everyone's happy!

While I don't recommend this toy for masturbation, it absolutely shines as added stimulation for the wearer of a strap-on. If that's what you're looking for, you couldn't choose better.

Wow, I seem to be the only one who has no trouble inserting or thrusting this toy. *laugh* I'm glad you like it, though. $74.99 is a high price to pay for a toy and not like it.

I also have a hard time thrusting if the toy has a prominent g-spot bend. You aren't alone!

Interesting. Glad you mentioned that particular use, since a lot of dildos aren't really shaped well for that kind of wear.
