My first...and you never forget your first.
This set is perfect for beginners. Good dildos, decent straps, nice little vibrator. If you're into gender play this is a good set to have, regardless of whether or not you're a beginner.

Pros
Comfortable, good beginner sizes, good vibrator.
Cons
None really.
Like the title says, this was my first. First strap-on ever, cheap and slightly shady motel and my real intro to gender play, blowjobs and anal sex; not really something you forget. At the time it was a fantastic thing, and still is.
The dildos were a little small but then, it's a beginners kit, so it's a good thing. You can change out the o-rings if you find out later that you're interested in something bigger. The two dildos are about the same length, I believe, about 6" from base to tip; I'd say 5.5" insertable length. Both are extremely smooth, so if you're looking for something with texture this is probably not for you. The skinnier of the two is perfect for first time anal play. They are not lint magnets as long as you maintain them properly, which basically just means rinse them off when you're done, clean them with rubbing alcohol or run them through the dishwasher or boil them when you want a deeper clean.
The straps are pretty comfortable; basically just nylon straps with sliders for adjustments. Still, it sits nice and was definitely designed with first time users in mind. It sits a little higher, which, in my opinion, makes it a little easier to control. I've moved on to bigger game now with the SpareParts harness, but this is fantastic for someone just starting out. I'd definitely have to say that my favorite aspect of this kit is the front pad. It sits perfectly, which makes a good shield against the unrefined edges of the bases of the dildos and has a tiny little pouch for the included bullet vibrator, which also sits precisely where it needs to. The vibrator is small and eats batteries like a mofo, but it is powerful and relatively quiet (particularly if it's tucked into the little pouch on the front of the straps).
This is a fantastic addition to anyone's collection and will help to make you and your partner very satiated people.
As a side note for those gender bending lovelies out there: These straps make for wonderful packing straps. They are small in the right way. They fit very nicely under clothing and are pretty discreet. The velvet backing can't be removed, but it does slide on the straps, so as long as you make sure you have enough room for any balls you may have you'll be golden. Just stretch the shaft of your softy through the o-ring, slip it on, and you're good to go. Also, because these dildos are silicone you can hard pack with them without really having to worry about damaging them.

Follow-up commentary
10 months after original review
This strap holds a special place in my heart as it was my first. The dildos are still in good shape and the straps are showing minimal wear. I've had this set for close to seven years now and it's still just as wonderful as it was the day we got it.
