More cock for your buck!
I would recommend this to anyone, regardless of whether or not you have a Vac-U-Lock system. The price is lower than a lot of the realistic silicone options out there. If you are a beginner to realistic dildos, you can try it out in one of the safest materials available without breaking the bank.

Pros
Quality material, realistic look and feel, great size.
Cons
Could be too textured, too big, or too rigid for some.
This Original Vac-U-Lock cock is made by Doc Johnson out of firm yet silky platinum silicone. It is a dildo made for use with the Vac-U-Lock system of harnesses, but I do not own one yet. I wanted this cock for a lot of reasons, but knowing I had the option of using it in a harness later was a bonus. I also have had my eye on the inflatable ball that is made for Vac-U-Lock dildos for some time now, but I wanted to make sure I had a good safe toy to use with it first. There are surprisingly few silicone options for dildos that are compatible with that system. When Doc Johnson came out with one made from silicone I was thrilled, especially after seeing the measurements. I'm a bit of a size queen, so having 7 and 1/2 inches in length to work with was a nice surprise. Most realistic silicone dildos I have seen have been about 6 or 6 and 1/2 inches long max. Also the thickness is a solid 1 and 1/2 inches. The textured veins and the over all firmness add up to a nice full feeling. In fact, beginner's may find the texture a bit much if they are sensitive. Also, the dildo is more rigid than one would expect from a dildo as long as this, so you should use caution when thrusting deeply. I learned this the hard way. I allow my man to use my other realistic type dildos on me. They are made of firm rubber, but they are only 6 and 1/2 inches insertable. While an inch doesn't seem like much, in the hands of an eager and enthusiastic lover, it can be the difference between pleasure and pain. While some may enjoy a little pain, as I do, this can cause some damage to your cervix. I recommend you play slow and cautious at first, until you and your partner know how this toy will work with your body. While the shaft of this cock is very straight, I found it was rigid enough and long enough to hit my g-spot at the right angle. Beginners to g spot stimulation may not be able to use it this way, but I found it quit easy to do especially with help from a partner. This dildo does have a sizable base which makes it safe for anal play. Again, size and texture will be a factor here, so it depends on how experienced you are with anal play. I just haven't been brave enough to use it that way... YET.
As for cleaning, silicone is non-porous, so you can sanitize it any way you like. I use liquid antibacterial hand soap and warm water, but silicone can be boiled or sanitized using a diluted bleach solution. Toy wipes and sprays may work as well, but the texture on this dildo can be harder to wipe clean. I allow mine to air dry and I store it in a gallon zip top bag by itself. The material attracts lint and hair easily. You will want to store it in something plastic or relatively lint free, or you will need to rinse it off before each use. The silicone has some drag to it, and with the added texture of the veins, I would recommend using a water based lube for insertion to avoid irritation. This especially important if you plan on doing a lot of vigorous thrusting. Silicone lube is not recommended, though I have heard of some doing a patch test to see if it will cause the material to degrade.
I can't wait to try this bad boy out on that ball! Until then though, I will enjoy using this cock by itself. I have so many dildos, but so few realistic ones that are body safe. I like having balls, but to be honest I like not having the awkward grip. My hand gets tired less often because I don't have to wrap it around bulky balls or a suction cup. My man liked this feature too. It's so much easier to use during sex, because the flat base fits between two bodies better. I absolutely love the look and feel of this cock, and knowing it is body safe gives me one less thing to worry about. Also, I have a bullet that fits inside the hole in the base perfectly, but it can be hard to get out. If you try this, I would put it in a condom or it could get stuck, as the hole in the base is quite deep. A good strong bullet transfers vibrations well through out the shaft, and makes this dildo that much more versatile.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
This beautiful silicone cock is by far my favorite dildo right now. It still looks as nice as it did when I got it with no signs of wear and tear. I like that I can put a bullet inside and turn it into a vibe. I also like the ease of use that comes with not having balls on the base. Unfortunately, I have yet to get the ball that I wanted to try this with. However, if I ever do, I will be sure to write a separate review on that and let every one know how this particular dildo works with that.
