Jollies wave review
A great toy for those who just want something fast, somewhat stiff and deep but not filling or stretching. Great for tagging or solo anal fun.

Pros
Good length and width for those wanting to go just a little farther than beginner anal play.
Cons
Thin width wont satisfy everyone. Stiff consistency doesn't allow much depth for anal.
When I ordered the Jollies Wave|Dildo by Jollies LLC, I hoped it would fill a niche in my toy arsenal. Since I'm slowly climbing my way up in anal play, I felt a simple dildo with a little more length but conservative girth should be the next step. Previously I'd bought the Tantus G-force|Tantus G-force - Anal sex toys and while it felt great, the suction ('plunger effect') when pulling out after a thrust took away from the overall experience. It was interesting, but when I'm in the heat of the moment and just want to feel a rhythmic series of hits inside me, it's a little counterproductive. I wanted something I could play with fast, quick and hard. The Wave, even with the ripple design, did exactly what I was hoping for which was a smooth, deep tapping sensation. It was easy to control from start to finish and easy to keep an even motion no matter how aggressive I became.
I could only really take about six or so of the eight inches but being able to speed up and slow down without physical resistance made it worth more than the price. The Wave would probably be perfect for someone who's just moving beyond smaller toys (~5in) and plugs into something bigger and more active. However, it isn't very flexible, so if you're wanting something that can snake its way around the inside of you, this likely isn't your toys. The pointed head of the Wave acts to intensify the apex of a thrust, where more blunted toys simply stop. When inserted fully (for me) the feeling was anything from a novel and pleasurable pressure to an intense feeling that made my eyes roll back and the center of my scalp tingle. Imagine a variant of that every second or so and you'll understand why this is my favorite toy currently.
Aesthetically, the Wave is more than acceptable. The glittery metallic texture is appealing but seems slightly more gaudy than silicone toys from other manufacturers. Feeling the smooth polished surface and rippled shape, especially with lube applied, easily made up for the glitter effect. Still, I wish the base were textured just a bit for easier handling.
Care and clean up, as with any silicone toy, is as easy and simple as you'd expect. Boiling is my preference and so far hasn't affected the surface of the toy at all.

Thank you for viewing Jollies wave – huge dildo review page!
Have you or your partner(s) tried it vaginally? It seems like it would be pretty unfulfilling, but I would wonder...
Also, does the size of the base concern you? It looks a little small to me, both for anal play, and for use in a harness, but that could just be the picture...
The base does look a little small for a harness- have you tried it like that?
As for whether it would be fulfilling for vaginal play, I highly doubt it. We didn't even try given it's thinness (only 1 1/8in on the outer, larger waves of the ripples). It's probably best for folks like me who are either beginners at it, just like easy anal play, or prefer length over girth.
As to that question, before this toy I honestly thought I was all about girth but given the experience with the Wave I'm currently more in favor of length. Of course, that could change with the next toy, but for right now, depth is proving more pleasurable than stretch.
