Is that a dildo on your palm, or are you just happy to see me?
Fun attractive product, multi-use, flexible, but won't easily fit all hands and can't be easily adapted to a range of sizes of dildos

Pros
multi-use for flexible play, attractive, durable, great to pull out as a surprise during play
Cons
can be difficult to fit, and the rubber O-ring is too stretchy
Outlaw Leather’s Palm Harness, also called a Five Finger Harness, is a fantastic idea with a few design flaws to be worked out.
First – why this toy rocks:
-It’s very attractive, with supple brown leather, shiny metal fittings, and black rubber O-ring.
-The toy is also well-made, with rivets that will last and last and snaps for easy removal of the O-ring.
-I find it inherently sexy to have leather strapped tight across my hand, or to see it stretched across my partner’s five-fingered love machine.
-Having a dildo held tight against the palm by this strap is far better than having to grip it—the harness holds the dildo tightly even when it is all slippery with lube (I don’t know about you, but I’ve had one slide from my grasp at inopportune moments!), and the harness leaves your fingers and thumb available for other merry-making. This latter is the source of the “Five Finger Harness” label, as the strap that fits over one finger allows for free movement from all. In practice, this means you can be thrusting hard and still be able to reach sensitive clit and lips.
-This toy is also great for those of us with a variety of hand/arm nerve damage issues. I found I had greater control, and could continue playing much longer, than when gripping a dildo tight in my fist. For folks with various issues with regular strap-on sex, such as back pain or paralysis, this harness provides a useful and fun alternative.
And now some of the drawbacks, which are functions of the toy’s design and presentation:
-When you open the toy’s box, which is a lovely shiny silver treasure chest, there are no directions. Without a good picture of how this fits the hand, the handful of leather strap is rather mysterious. Even after referencing the photo on Eden I originally strapped this onto my left hand rather than my right…
-…which brings me to sizing and handedness issues. I have a very small hand, even for a woman. I could actually wear this on my left, with the loop intended for the pinkie over my first finger. I preferred it on my left, as I am right-handed and found I had many more position options if my right hand were free to roam while my left-hand worked the dildo. On the Outlaw Leather Etsy site I saw listings for this product with options for either hand; Eden currently carries only the right-handed version, with no note about other options.
-My partner and I found that the harness was a much harder fit on her larger hand. While the strap that loops around the wrist and back up through the O-ring is very adjustable, the flaps that anchor the O-ring to the wrist strap below and finger above are quite short. On a larger palm, this forces the wrist strap to sit across the bottom of the palm rather than around the wrist, making the fit less stable.
-The stretchiness of the rubber O-ring was also an issue, for when I pulled the strap through it and then back to tighten on the metal stud, the only way to get the strap tight enough stretched the O-ring to a distorted shape, pulling the dildo to the side. This is easily fixed by substituting a metal O-ring. In theory different size rings could be used to allow use with smaller anal toys, but the problem of the short flaps that anchor the ring means a smaller ring would keep the harness from fitting centered in the palm. These size issues could be easily fixed by a simple redesign of the flaps anchoring the ring – if they were also adjustable, the harness could be adapted in all kinds of ways.
BUT – I still really like this toy, even with the sizing issues! The look is great, the feel of having it pulled snug across my hand is great, and the ability to control the dildo while having my fingers free is great. And not having to grip, so that the damage from carpal tunnel doesn’t time-limit play is also a wonderful, and important feature. If you have large hands the toy as it exists may not be right for you, but if it fits, I promise you will enjoy it.

Experience
My girlfriend is a curious and inventive woman, a woman who has a fascination with a harness she once saw online that fit over a boot such that the wearer could be fucking someone with her foot. So after we tried this on her palm and found it wasn’t a great fit, she asked, “would this fit on my foot?” Intrigued, I stripped off her shoe and sock and tried. It did fit on her left foot, with the “finger” loop over the 4th toe and the strap pulled firm around the foot, dildo centered over her second metatarsal. Studying how it looked, and knowing she is very flexible, she asked, “Do you think I could fuck myself?” “Let’s find out,” I replied. And, with only a little bit of steering from her left hand, she found that she could! While that position didn’t allow for easy thrusting, it was certainly fun and interesting.
What might this mean for you? If you, too, are curious and flexible, this harness clearly has many many potential uses. If you decide to strap on and try a few, please share!

Follow-up commentary

This continues to be an interesting toy. Substituting a metal ring for the rubber one has solved part of the problem of the harness being stretched out of shape when strapped down tight. The metal adds to the overall weight, but the sense of having the dildo secure is worth the trade off.
What is it about having leather strapped firmly to any body part that just feels so damn good? I suppose one need not have an exact analysis to want to wear this everywhere....

Don't think I'll be getting one for now, but I'll keep it in mind for the future.
