This strap-on has a comfy harness; sizeable, rechargeable vibrator with motors in the shaft and in the pad that presses against the wearer's clitoris; remote control so the receiver or giver can have control without awkwardly reaching for buttons; and a charger. The vibrator has a silicone coating. That means you probably shouldn't use silicone or oil based lubricants but water based are fine, especially the jelly formulated ones that work better for anal play, if you are going that route. The silicone has a little bit of give but is pretty firm, it does not really bend much. The vibrator cleans up well with soap and water. We didn't submerge it, but it looks pretty water resistant, and the charging port seems to be spring loaded to keep liquids out. There is some mild texture but no intense ribbing or anything that I could really feel in use. The base does have some ribbing but my partner didn't mention noticing it.

The harness is a synthetic, washable material with velcro that can go through the laundry. We air dried to prevent shrinking but since it's not cotton, that shouldn't be an issue anyway.

The harness and vibrator seem well made and durable. My biggest frustration was the angle of the vibrator. This is our first strap-on so I can only compare based on images, but other vibrators seem to have a more "perpendicular" angle, protruding more or less horizontal with the floor when the wearer is standing upright. The Power Mate has a more diagonal or almost vertical orientation. This made insertion challenging, because we probably should have spooned instead of trying doggie style or with me on my back. I think the "loop" on the end of the vibrator is also kind of bizarre. Why would you want a cavity inside a toy that gets inserted, especially anally? We were able to clean this well so far but it just seems unnecessary. I think it is meant to make insertion easier but it does not seem to help based on where it is, it just seems to be an extra thing to clean.

Based on the extreme angle, the positions we tried were not great. I think the girth of the vibrator is probably at the outer edge of my comfort zone, so it was kind of a stretch (pun intended) to start with this one. I tried it on my own and even manipulating it myself did not find it super comfortable, but that is probably my anatomy and impatience.

The harness itself is comfortable, my partner found it interesting to have a penis and walked around for a bit with it just getting the feel.

It only took us a few seconds to figure out how to put it on, and adjustment was easy. The harness itself was comfortable, but the vibrator was probably a little too big for me, unless I was really, really turned on.

We washed the vibrator with soap and water before and after every use. It stored well in the plastic case inside the box it arrived in.

The Power Mate comes in a cardboard box with a plastic molded insert, all covered in shrinkwrap. Each part can theoretically be recycled, but we kept the case for storage.
