Getting the VIP Treatment from Tantus
While the (very) solid silicone may not be for everyone, I found the curved shaft and thick head made this a new favourite for strap-on play, with its G-spot stimulation and impressive look in a harness the VIP really does give you the VIP treatment.
Published:
Pros
Satisfyingly thick head, curved shape stimulates G-spot, testicles and flared base for strap-on use.
Cons
Is very solidly built so may be too firm for some.
Having had my eye on the VIP for what feels like an age, I recently finally got around to adding it to my ever expanding Tantus collection,
Packaging:
The VIP arrives in Tantus’ usual style of packaging, a clear plastic box which is free of any sexual imagery. On the back and sides of the packaging you will find plenty of information about the silicone used in Tantus toys. The VIP arrived in what I know as the slightly smaller size of Tantus box, fitting nicely in it with no excess packaging. As the clear plastic box is so transparent, it gives you the advantage of being able to see the toy from every angle while it still sits in the packaging. Still in its packaging it looked thicker than I had been expecting so I wasn’t sure at first whether this was just a visual illusion caused by the plastic.
First Impression:
Available in three colour choices, Purple, Pink and Black, I opted for the Purple which in person still has a nice reflective shine to it despite its matte finish. The first thing I noticed was how generously girthy the VIP is compared to how it had looked in product page photos. The thickness of the head is comparable to the VixSkin Maverick.
The second thing I noticed was how very firm and decidedly solid it feels. Toying with it in my hands I found there was little bend to be had as it fights against any pressure to hold its shape well. The balls of the VIP are quite round and semi-realistic and the left testicle has the brand name Tantus engraved in it which I must admit to finding humorous at first.
Looking closely at the colouring of the purple option it has a reflective quality so depending on lighting it can have shades of deep blue shining through its pastel purple.
Build/Shape:
Semi-realistic in its overall look, the VIP features testicles and a very slight head shape. The head of the toy is quite unusual in its design with an almost square shape to its ridge. While the ridge is boxy, it’s also only subtly raised so it isn’t uncomfortable in use.
The girth of the head looks noticeably thicker than the rest of the shaft and the curved design of the shaft really exaggerates this. To measure, the decline in girth is surprisingly little with the head having a circumference of 6 inches and the lower shaft having a circumference of 5 ½ inches.
The ‘testicled’ base makes the VIP harness compatible and I’ve found that it fits a 1.5 inch O-ring well and looks fantastic in a harness with its solid build keeping the shaft curved upwards.
Measurements:
Total length: 7 Inches
Insertable Length: 6 Inches
Circumference: 5 ½ to 6 Inches
O-Ring compatibility: 1 ½ Inch
Features:
Flared base for safe anal use
Harness compatible (O-Ring)
In Use/Experience:
With its larger girth than anticipated I find the VIP needs a warm up toy and a decent drop of lube before insertion. The boxy shape of the thick head can be a little unforgiving upon insertion but is also quite intense right from the moment of insertion and feels very different to any other dildo I own.
Once past the head, the rest of the shaft is more typical in shape though still nicely thick and filling. The curve is enough to provide g-spot stimulation with the thick head rubbing the g-spot gently with every thrust. For me the type of g-spot stimulation provided by the VIP is particularly pleasant as it doesn’t have any sensation of poking or sharpness like many g-spot toys have.
While the insertable length of the VIP is quite an average 6 inches or so I found that the mix of its thickness and curve stopped me from inserting its full length, leaving me feeling quite filled with over an inch of its length going spare as it surprised me with its satisfyingly solid and fulfilling design.
When used in a harness the VIP works incredibly well for strap-on play as its curved shape stimulates the prostate just as well as it had stimulated the g-spot for me. Doggy style strap-on play was ruled out as uncomfortable for us because of its curve and how firm and unforgiving it is but when used it the right position (with the curve pointing towards the G or P-spot) it feels as good as it looks. And it does look amazing in a harness with its firm silicone allowing no floppiness and its head proudly pointing upwards.

Experience
Overall:
After experiencing the VIP for myself I am now just regretting that I hadn’t invested in it sooner. The unusual shape of its head mixed with the larger girth may be intimidating for some but for girth lovers or more experienced players this is one of those dildos that will take your breath away. For those who like the design but don’t like solid silicone (and this is very solid) there is even the option of the VIP super soft instead.
- Compared with the VixSkin Maverick -
Care:
Made of high-quality Silicone, the Tantus VIP is both Latex and Phthalates free, silicone is completely non-porous meaning that it can be fully disinfected by boiling it for 3 minutes or by throwing it into the top rack of your dishwasher or it can be simply washed after use with warm soapy water or specialized toy cleaner, it is generally believed that silicone based lubricants should not be used with silicone toys. I would recommend using a generous amount of water-based lubricant with the VIP as its silicone has a matte finish.
When not in use, I keep mine in a Zip-sealed plastic bag; this keeps him dust and lint free as silicone toys are well known for attracting hairs and dust.
