Adjusting the straps loosens and tightens the harness to fit your body. Should fit securely against the body, and the triangle should rest on the pubic bone. It does not come off or loosen during vigorous use, and it should stay on as long as the straps are secure. The o-ring is not made to be removed and is stitched into the straps.
