The Original Vac-U-Lock dildo by Doc Johnson is a firm, textured dildo that can be used for vaginal and anal penetration, or oral simulation. This dildo is firm enough so that penetration shouldn't be a problem for users, as it won't bend or squirm when trying to insert, but its large girth could be a problem if you're not used to larger dildos, or a lot of texture. This dildo is harness compatible with its flared base on the bottom, and the hole in the bottom is specifically designed for Doc Johnson's wide array of Vac-U-Lock attachments. The base makes this dildo o-ring compatible for any type of harness of your choosing, while the hole for the Vac-U-Lock system makes it compatible with a suction cup, or any other Vac-U-Lock attachment. The opening on the bottom could also be useful for a bullet, but remember to put the bullet in a condom to retrieve it -- if it does not have a retrieval cord, like some bullets do. Do not use a silicone lubricated condom, as it will react with the material.

The Original Vac-U-Lock by Doc Johnson is made from 100% non-porous, tasteless, odorless, phthalates free, hypoallergenic, premium platinum silicone. Upon opening this product, I was met with a sort of lemony scent, which I am guessing was the cleaning solution used in taking the silicone out of its mold. However, this smell quickly dissolves. The first thing I noticed upon taking it out of its package was the texture. The dildo is molded to look realistic, with veins spreading all along the top of the shaft, with a smooth area underneath. The Doc Johnson dildo I ordered, which is the pink glittery color that looks like bubblegum, had a noticeably grainy feel to it, so I'm guessing this is due to the glitter, but it wasn't noticeable upon insertion.

I used this for oral simulation as well, and there wasn't any taste whatsoever in my mouth from the material, but again I felt that grainy sort of feel in my mouth. This didn't bother me in any form, as it's only a light grain, and it's barely noticeable, but I thought I should make a note of it here. The Original is made to look realistic, but honestly, it doesn't look realistic because the veins are over exaggerated. You can feel those veins upon insertion, though. I've come to find that I enjoy a lot of texture, but those who are sensitive to it might try to find another toy, because this toy is packed with it. I would not say that this toy is good for those who are beginning to experiment with textures.

This dildo is extra firm, and bending it takes a bit of effort, unless you're bending it a very little amount. The material isn't plushy, and it requires a bit of warming up and lubricant for insertion. When 'squishing' the shaft, the dildo does not give very much.

This dildo provided me with fairly good g-spot stimulation, but I much prefer curved toys, though this could work for other users accordingly. Those users using it for p-spot stimulation could benefit from this toy, too. This toy is also very filling, and could be too big for beginner users. This toy is made from 100% pure silicone, which is non-porous. It can be boiled, bleached in a 10% solution, put in the top rack of the dishwasher, or simply washed off with warm water and soap before and after each use. I'd let this toy air dry, as drying it with a paper towel or cloth towel tends to leave lint behind due to the tacky surface of this toy. When using a lubricant with this toy, always make sure the lube is water-based, as silicone can react with the material, causing it to melt and become distorted. I always return my toy to the clam shell packaging it came in, so as to keep dust, dirt, or hair from sticking to it, but you can store it in a plastic bag, or wrapped up however you like. To be on the safe side, do not allow this toy to come into contact with other toys; it could bond with them, and the toy would be ruined.

This dildo came packaged in a basic clam shell casing, with a paper stating the properties of the toy on the back. It was very minimal, and the packaging can be recycled, but I kept mine for storage to keep all the nasties off of the toy. This packaging is not discreet at all; it displays the toy directly.

I personally loved the color of this toy. It reminded me of classic bubblegum. Also, the size, although intimidating at first, was perfect for that filling sensation.
