0-2 with SpareParts Pete Line
Perhaps if you have plenty of money to spend on underwear, the SpareParts Pete trunks would be great for you. You can't argue that this packing underwear line is great quality, but for me it's just not worth the large price tag for one pair. There's nothing really "wrong" with this product, but they're not perfect either. For $30, a pair of underwear should be INCREDIBLE.

Pros
Great quality, comfortable, works with STPs
Cons
EXPENSIVE, trunks roll up my thighs, prominent logo on oustide
After my disappointment with the commando style in the Pete line, I decided to suck it up and spend more money to get a product I'd really like. Unfortunately, I spent the money but still wasn't in love. I thought the trunk style would be perfect for me since I wear boxer briefs and trunks every day already. It seemed like the perfect idea to buy the SpareParts Pete trunks, but it turns out I was wrong.
Like the commando style, the trunks are of great quality and are incredibly soft and comfortable. However, the material seemed to consistently roll up my thighs, which drove me crazy! The compartment in the trunks for your packer has the same elastic band to hold your packer in place as the other styles in the line. Similarly, the trunks work well with STP packers as well. Really, the design of the product is amazing. Even though the material feels great against my skin, I wish it had been made out of cotton so they would feel more like "typical" underwear that I wear. It would also prevent the legs of the trunks from rolling up all the time.
Since I've tried twice with the Pete line and haven't been completely satisfied either time, I've given up on them. For the large price tag for one pair of underwear, I just don't think they're worth it. There are many other alternatives for cheaper that I stick to now, including simple DIY adjustments to trunks and boxer briefs. Like my Pete commando style, I converted this pair of packing underwear into a hard-packing harness, and I'm already 100% more satisfied with them.
One other issue with these is if you're stealth, the logo is printed on the OUTSIDE of the underwear. Even though it just says SpareParts Hardware, it could still draw some unwanted attention in the locker room or what have you.
