Ultra thin disaster
All in all, I was extremely disappointed with this problem. When people want to have sex, they want to have sex. They don't want to start, stop halfway through, and not be able to pick it up again right away. Besides, condoms aren't for everyone, and I don't like using them in the first place.

The first thing I want to say here is thank goodness I'm in a long term monogamous relationship with a spouse who equally dislikes condoms.
We tried handfuls and handfuls of different condoms and came to the conclusion that sex just isn't as good as it is when it's bareback. So, we figured we would try the 'Trojan UltraThin Lubricated' condoms. I figured, "hey, let's give it a try, why not?" I read plenty of reviews online before buying and decided to just bite the bullet and go for it.
To me, ultra thin means ULTRA THIN. Yes, these condoms are the thinnest ones I've ever tried, but alas, the results were the same. Sex is still better with other forms of birth control than a condom. We had immense difficulty even unrolling the condom, and trying to put it on my spouse's penis was almost frustrating enough to say screw it, and go to bed without nookie. (Which in itself is a form of blasphemy if you ask me.)
Just from putting the condom on him, I enjoyed the more natural feel of the latex, and he said it didn't feel "suffocating" to his member. There was a low odor from the condom (because let's face it, sometimes when you open a condom pack, they have a grotesque odor), and it was great. After struggling and then finally getting down to the dirty deed, we felt things were getting better. We were wrong.
It felt like a lot of pressure, like when you are trying to have sex with absolutely no lubrication, and I had to make him pull out to add more lube to the condom. Fine, there is nothing wrong with lube, but as we discovered, if you add too much lube to a condom and it gets to the top of his member and somehow a little bit gets into the condom, you're going to have a bad time, because the condom slipped. After we got that all figured out and were getting back into it, things were getting better again.
Personally, this part sucked, and it probably doesn't happen to everyone (and is most likely not just because we used THIS condom) but not only did the condom break, but I also had an allergic reaction to it. If you've never had an allergic reaction inside yourself, let me tell you it blows!
Pros:
- the latex felt more natural
-low condom odor
-lubricated
- pretty thin material
Cons:
-extreme difficulty unrolling, putting on
-lubrication didn't last long enough
-condom broke
-condom kept slipping before it broke
-uncomfortable allergic reaction
I like the Trojan brand of condoms, if it ever came down to "wear a condom or you can't have sex kind of situation." I know they are an old and trusted brand, but I won't be using the Trojan Ultra Thin Lubricated condoms EVER again. After all of that hassle, we had to stop mid way through having sex, and because of the out of nowhere allergic reaction, I couldn't have sex for a few weeks.
