These were definitely the most interesting speciality condoms my fiancée and I have ever used. We've tried several kinds ranging from ribbed to twisted to ribbed and twisted and everything in between. I've been sterilized, so I can't get pregnant, so we really like to just experiment with condoms for fun. Out of all the varieties we've experimented with, these were really the only ones that actually delivered on the promise of an extra sensation.

The fire and ice condoms have special lubricants on the inside and outside of the condom. One cools, the other warms. The idea is that the friction from thrusting increases the reactions in each lubricant, which is a pretty awesome concept.

So we tried these out and were pleasantly surprised that they actually work! It wasn't a super intense feeling, but we could definitely feel a difference. It was a nice added "tingle" to the experience. Of all the condoms we'd tried that offered something different, this was the only one that with which we actually FELT something different (aside from the usual difference between protected and unprotected sex).

Don't expect anything really powerful or overwhelming. Compared to using an actual cooling/warming gel, the sensation is fairly mild. If you're looking for more intense reactions, buying a cooling or warming lube or lotion specifically would be a better choice. KY makes two kinds of "His and Hers" type of lubricants, which are a good option for those who want something more intense.

Overall, I would use these again and I would recommend them. Seeing as these are the only special condoms we've tried that we could actually feel something. For those of you who like the added effects of cooling or warming, but don't like the intensity of an actual cooling/warming gel, this is a nice alternative.

We bought a multi-pack of condoms that included these recently, and truthfully, these are the reason we bought the pack. The store we were at didn't have a box of just these, so we went for the one that had them. (Unfortunately, there were only 3 in the pack).

Still love them. The tingling sensation is still great and I would definitely spend money on a box of these specifically in the future.
