These condoms take the concept to a whole different level. Having been married for 6 years and two years before first trying them, I was not psyched about the idea of having to wear them again. After the birth of our first child, it was a necessity if we were going to have any sort of sex life post baby for the first few weeks cleared by the doctor. These were relatively new to the market at the time and seemed to be part of a condom renaissance.

These condoms feel great and the small amount of lubricant seems to be part of the condom itself rather than a marinade in the wrapper. This makes them less messy and off-putting as other brands and styles I've used in the past. All condoms have a funky smell which is generally unsavory. They are awkward and require a pause in the action. These don't have that signature Trojan smell and though a pause is still required, they are easy to put on.

They are comfortable with a stay put fit. They don't slip or sag, but are rather comfortably snug. They do desensitize a bit; after all they are still a condom, but this can be an advantage if it has been a few weeks. The smooth silicone-based lubricant is pretty fantastic and long lasting. Let's face it, no condom is better than the real deal. They are pretty gross in general and pre-monogamy they are a necessary evil. Once you are with one trusted and tested partner, the true intimacy you feel when connected skin to skin cannot be matched. However, this really is the next best alternative. After the first time, I couldn't wait for the next time, but that was partially due to the eight to ten weeks without sex of any kind. However, these condoms changed my mind about what sex with them can be like.
