Lifestyles Skyn is in...
If you're looking for the cheapest latex free condom, Skyn is usually your best bet. Its thinness, no scent, and good durability make this an option for us with latex allergies.

Pros
Latex free, scent free, thin.
Cons
Too small for many men
Lifestyles Skyn is a new(er) condom that's been released by Lifestyles and takes aim at a demographic that is really in need of more options - people allergic to latex. For years, the only safe condoms (those that protect against STIs and HIV) have been made of latex, which is a naturally occurring rubber that has been used as a barrier against disease and pregnancy for decades.
Unfortunately, more and more people (myself included) have become allergic to this material, meaning that our options were few. Lambskin? That would stop pregnancy but not disease. That's where polyisoprene and its cousins come in. Skyn, which is made with polyisoprene, is a thin condom that prevents disease and pregnancy, all while claiming to feel even more like "bare" than the thinnest latex.
Well, I say that it's great... but nowhere near bare, of course, as it is still a condom. The Skyn condoms are thin, and feel... different when putting them on than an average latex condom. You feel like you might pop them. These condoms also feel a bit snug on a girthy, or even normal thickness guy. The length is fine, but they're a bit tight - you can feel it rolling one on.
Skyn doesn't make a crinkle noise or anything weird, at least that I heard, and it does transfer heat reasonably well. Lubes that I use with regular latex condoms, water-soluble ones mostly, are fine with Skyn. You might want a bit of extra lube as well... these don't seem to be quite as slippery as latex.
No smell (haven't tasted one) and no burning for me makes them a good choice, but there are others out there that are non-latex. The price on Skyn makes them affordable comparatively, so you'll have to balance out for yourself which makes more sense.

Follow-up commentary

I don't use condoms as much (being fluid bonded to my partner) but these are still an excellent choice for those with latex allergies—or really anyone who likes thin condoms. As long as you know the fit is large enough for your partner (or toy) Skyn condoms are an excellent choice.
