Kimono microthin: Amazing feel, like it's not even there, and strong!
HIM & HER: Overall, these are great feeling because of how close it feels to wearing nothing at all. It was snug, which made us feel even closer and it didn't leave a strong odor behind. It also set us at ease because it was still strong enough to withstand heavy friction. It's unlike any condom we've tried thus far.

Pros
Great, nearly-bare feel without sacrificing security.
Cons
If you prefer a "baggy" condom this is not for you. The price is a bit steep.
You won't another latex condom that is this thin, and this sturdy. At 0.0019" thick, it's thinner than the skin of your eyelids, which are 0.001968" thick! Average condoms are 0.0027" thick, if you need further comparison.
The head, shaft and base width are 2.05" wide each. The shaft and base will fit very snugly if you are an average-sized man, and the 2" wide head will be form-fitting for most men.* According to one source, the circumference is about 4.6" but it seemed larger. The length should also accommodate many men since it is 7.48" long.
This clear latex condom features a reservoir tip for a bit more security. It also tapers the slightest bit after the head but returns to its previous width of 2.05 inches. It does not feature a weird shape or color, such as the Inspiral condom or Durex's Tropical flavored condoms. Speaking of flavor, this condom is without unless you mean, "Does it taste like latex?" because it does have that taste, though it is not as strong as other brands that I've had the misfortune to experience.
Always remember to use water-based lubrication with latex condoms such as this, though there are also silicone-based lubricants that are safe.** Remember to read the lubricant's label.
These condoms are more expensive than many other brands, especially if you buy these at a store, but they are worth it based on feel and strength. You may be able to find these at a lower price if you shop online and make use of discount codes.
*Men that my partner and I "surveyed" all seemed to strongly agree on one thing: Kimono microthin condoms are very snug. Some complained that they were too restrictive. You may want to measure yourself (or your partner) to get an idea of how snugly it will fit. Those whose girth is smaller may find that these are the perfect fit.
**Women noted that after the first few minutes it became dry even though some lubrication was applied beforehand, so make sure plenty of lubricant is being used to keep the friction pleasurable.
One more note: The couples we surveyed are friends of ours. We asked that they be as truthful as possible when answering our questions. For our part, my partner and I tried not to influence their answers during our survey. We surveyed 8 people total, four women and four men.

Experience
HER: When my partner enjoys himself I enjoy myself, but sometimes the enjoyment is short-lived because I take considerably long to climax. The first tine using a Kimono microthin, my partner climaxed earlier than usual because of how close it felt to being bare.
HIM: HEY!
HER: It only happened that one time and I still enjoyed it! Back to my "story." These condoms feel so great that he forgot it was there after climaxing and was worried for a second before realizing he was still wearing a condom. After the brief scare he used a Kimono microthin again. It seemed that he was stimulated sufficiently but able to focus on performing without fear of climaxing too soon despite the thinness of the condom.
HIM: You might truly forget you're wearing a Kimono microthin condom because of the thinness, and you won't have that constant fear that it might break, which was a welcome surprise. After having a nightmarish "Honey, I think it broke" moment in the past with another brand, this was a relief. It fit rather snugly for me, which was a new sensation. I am around 6" around, if that helps. Also, it did not leave a strong lingering latex smell, which is always a plus. Honestly, this was the best feeling condom I've tried, and it held up during the whole of our time together.
HER: I really enjoyed the whole experience. Knowing that he enjoyed himself as much as I did was great, and not having to worry if we were being too "energetic" really helped keep the mood intact.

Follow-up commentary
28 days after original review
We used a Kimono Microthin condom a few days ago, and my boyfriend still enjoys the barely-there feel of it. This is definitely a brand we will continue to buy for use on special occasions.

Thank you for viewing Kimono MicroThin 12 pack – male condom discontinued review page!
@P'Gell. My boyfriend and I conducted the "survey." We actually tried Kimono because two of his friends suggested these (or something like that... not sure what exactly they said since this was during "guy time") so we asked them what they thought. I offered Kimono microthins to three of my friends to try but only two of them responded while I was writing.
My bf's friends relayed that they thought it was too snug, and one of them said that his lady required more lube. Both of my friends added lube because they wanted it, and they both reported that the condom fit their guys like a second skin. Erin (one of my friends) reported that she and her partner would probably not use Kimono microthins again because he thought they were too small.
Sorry for that. I should have clarified, even though I thought my review was getting long!
