Like many people, I have had some bad experiences with IcyHot. You know, the muscle rub in the tubes that burns. So I was a bit dubious when my partner brought these condoms to bed. They are packaged in a fairly normal condom package, which needless to say is not at all discreet. The condoms themselves are in pretty purple and blue wrappers, but look like perfectly normal translucent yellowish condoms. They are lubricated, and I have found there is enough on them to need any additional lube.

The condoms are latex and do have a bit of a latex smell to them. I licked one and the taste is not horrible, just condom-y. It isn't anything as bad as getting Icy Hot on your tongue, but I certainly wouldn't go around eating them for fun.

I suspect the condoms fit a little large. I was using them on toys, but they fit easily onto my larger dildos and vibes. They seem to be fairly durable, as I have gone through several boxes and have yet to rip one, whereas most condoms I use tear every time.

For the first minute or so of penetration with the Fire & Ice condom I didn't really notice much of anything. However, as play began to speed up I started to feel the tingling sensations of the Fire & Ice. The sensation is a little bit hard to describe. It is more cool than hot in my opinion. Rather than feeling like a specific temperature, it provides something of an intensifying tingling sensation which I found really added to penetration. I am a very tactile person and the cooling feeling definitely added to intercourse and helped push me over the edge. It might be a little much for some people but I personally didn't find it at all unpleasant or overwhelming, and my partner agreed that it was very enjoyable. I would not describe the sensations as especially intense. They just add a little oomph to your play.
