I personally love this condom. It is durable and big enough to accommodate most men, and provides hot and cold sensations just as advertised. However, these sensations aren't AS noticeable as I would have liked. This condom doesn't need additional lubricant, and doing so might actually ruin the little effect that it has. Personally, if I were going to go for a warm or cold sensation, I would probably go with a jelly and just skip this condom all together. That being said, it does indeed serve its intended purpose as a reliable protection for sexual intercourse. It never broke, tore, slipped off, or any other sort of thing which may cause unplanned parenthood. That being said, other forms of birth control, such as pills or patches, are FAR more reliable than condoms will ever be.

My wife doesn't feel the same about the condom, however. For her the sensation was too intense, and thus made the sex not as pleasurable as with normal condoms or lubricants. She prefers to have bareback sexual intercourse over condoms in general, however, and this might have proved an obstacle in gleaning pleasure from a sexual stimulator such as this. I have never tried anything outside of normal sexual intercourse with her, so cannot speak to how she would react to more severe forms of temperature play.

Overall, to fully enjoy what this condom has to offer, both you and your partner must be able to garner pleasure from mild warming and cooling sensations. If you are already accustomed to icy or hot play, or are extra sensitive to these types of sensations, than this product is likely not for you. Personally for more intense sensations I would probably use a gel, a glass toy, or ice. For low sensation play I would use normally lubricated condoms, lubricant, or bareback. It really depends on how sensitive your nether regions are when it comes to how intense the sensations will be. I already use ice in masturbation and anal play when I am going solo, so this sort of thing really isn't close to that intense of a temperature difference.
