Good for Me, Mediocre for her
Overall, these are an improvement to the Trojan brand, but still lacking behind my standard condoms. While these are easy to apply and have good texturing, the thick latex and the eventual odor are bad enough to keep me away and stay with my other brands.

Pros
New and improved shape gives more head room. Ribs are nice, if you're into them. Easy to roll on.
Cons
Strong latex odor. Needed to apply lube several times. Thicker than normal latex.
Trojan condoms are not our typical brand of choice. Maybe it’s because of the over-hyping of the brand and their extra large sized products. Yeah, like the 90% of us regular guys really need to see XL products. More than likely, it’s because we’ve done our research and gone with more recommended condoms. In the past, Trojans have been bulky latex condoms and a bit uncomfortable. However, when I saw the Trojan Ecstasy condoms on an online advertisement, I was intrigued by the redesigned shape and figured it was time to give them another go.
On first look, the wrapper is a bit larger than your typical condom -- Great, I thought, XL condom. Really, these condoms are just rolled up a bit differently and, well better. I have to admit, these were one of the easiest rubbers to put on in a long time. It just rolled on. No tugging or figuring out which way is the outside. Just on. There’s nothing worse than dealing with a Costanza condom race.
Once on, it was quite comfortable. The extra room at the head was nice. Sometimes, I feel so restricted by latex condoms that I loose a whole bunch of stimulation. These actually left me a bit of room, which was nice. I noticed something kind of odd right away, which left me a bit uncomfortable: there was no reservoir (that little bulb-shaped portion on the tip of the condom that assures you that your condom is in one piece.) Realizing this made me want to pull out a bit earlier, just to see what would happen. I mean, there is no point of using protection if that protection doesn’t work. The other part of these condoms were the ribs, which happen at the base and near the head of the condom. While I am a big fan of ribbed condoms because it adds a bit of extra sensitivity, my girlfriend is not, so she was immediately skeptical.
The first time we used these condoms, we used minimal lubrication. While this latex is a bit thicker than most condoms that I use, I got a decent amount of good sensation, probably due to the shake of the head. However, within 5 minutes my girlfriend was complaining about friction and we needed to reapply lubrication. In addition, I started to notice a very strong, rubber/latex odor. This is something I have not noticed from condoms in years. When I finally finished, I pulled out quite quickly to make sure there was no leakage due to the lack of the reservoir. While it was nice to have less latex in that area, it wasn’t worth it in terms of actual protection.
We tried these a few more times, with a bit more success. I found that we had to use quite a bit of lube for her to be comfortable. And while the ribs do feel nice, the thickness of the latex was nowhere near what I wanted it to be in order to be comfortable.
