I've been using Trojan condoms for years; in fact, I think I've used Trojans the most since I became sexually active. The Fire and Ice condoms really were a disappointment.

On the plus side, the lube holds up really well, and my wife and I never had to add anymore lube to keep things moving. And they're durable; they hold up to a lot of punishment, especially if you're having really vigorous sex. But that's where the pluses end.

I never felt the warming lube. Ever. I guess I'm just desensitized to things heating up down there. Now that I think about it, my wife didn't even feel it. So we didn't get what we paid for with the heating aspect of these. And that's not the worst part.

The cooling lube kicked in after I had climaxed, and it was unpleasant. Even after I had taken the condom off and cleaned myself off, I still felt it.It almost got to a pins and needles sensation, and on that particular part of the male anatomy, unless that's what you're into, sensations like that just doesn't feel good at all. In fact, it almost started to hurt.

This didn't add anything to our sexual experience. I think if I had dunked my erection in a bucket of ice water instead I would have had a more pleasant experience than I had with these.

We never finished the box we got. We put the remainder in with condoms we use with our other partners, and promptly forgot about them. Now whenever we see warming and cooling condoms in the store or online, we just pass them by.

Trojan likes to jump on the bandwagon with the latest condom fads, and these Fire and Ice condoms are just one example of that. I'm sorry to say that they were less than successful in this particular case. Maybe I'm just a weird outlier; that I'm one of the few who these don't work on, but I can't recommend these to anyone.

This had so much potential, but it fell really flat.
