My partner and I usually get Magnum condoms because of his size and dislike for the constraint they usually add to his feeling. When I got a sample of Ecstacy condoms regular size, we loved them; they are our favorite actually. We went to the store to get them and got these Magnum ones instead. They are also awesome, but it turns out we like the regular ones a little better because the Magnums are missing the double ribbing.

This new condoms by Trojan adds something Magnum condoms have not had before...ribbing. It is designed to be forgotten and add stimulation for both the female and the male instead of stifling it. Magnums are designed to fit the larger than average men, but this version fits larger than regular Magnums do.

SPECS: The Magnum is actually not all that larger than the regular, this may be due to the regular being larger than other Trojan regular sized condoms because of the design.

Compared to average condoms:

Average condoms have a thickness of 0.0027". The Ecstasy Magnum has a thickness of the same measurement. But because of the design and dual lubricant, it won't feel as thick as other condoms that are the same. It really doesn't because of the dual lubrication it made my partner and I feel a more natural and wet sensation.

The average condom is 7.5" long. This condom is much longer at 8.1". This is one of the longest condoms on the market. Maybe they will start making Ecstacy Magnum XXL in the near future for the even further above average guys. The unique rounded end of this condom is where the semen is caught-there is no specific reservoir end which actually doesn't pose a problem because of the head room. I recommend these condoms for members no longer than 7.85". This length was more than enough for my partner who is over 7", this is why we stick with the regular sized Ecstacy ones just for this type. Otherwise, we do need the extra length, but not in this case. I like it though because it makes me worry less that semen could come out of the condom or that it could slip off.

Average condom head width is 2.125". This condom has tons of extra room at 2.55" wide. Because guys with more than average length, usually have larger girth especially in the head, this condom also accommodates for this. The extra head room is part of the awesome design. With the extra room, there is more room for natural feeling friction that stimulates the head. It also helps the me feel his natural shape. My partner doesn't feel restricted at all.

Average shaft and base width is 2" the Ecstasy Magnum is slightly larger at 2.05" but the same as the regular size. The difference that matters most is in the head, but this helps too. My partner can notice the difference even as small as this is, but guys of average girth probably won't. The base width is good for the girthy guys because it won't slide off; but if you have just extra length and average girth, you may want to be careful when pulling out.

The ribbing on this condom is very deeply grooved. It has less of them than traditional ribbed condoms. I like this because I can feel it even more. The ribs are only on the shaft and not on the head like the regular size.

Perhaps my favorite part of this condoms is the super slick and smooth silicone lubricant that is inside and outside of the condom. This is what helps provide the wet natural feeling. There is a lot of lubricant, so application is probably not needed. The smell is low, cleanup is easy and it even makes you feel baby soft afterward. They come in x-large gold foil wrappers which are easy to open. In stores, the box is black instead of yellow.

VERDICT:

These really do make you forget that you are wearing them, which is why we both love them! I am giving these condoms 5 stars also. They are excellent for the larger guys, and for once have features that really stimulate the woman also. The lubrication is excellent and so is the ribbing.

If you didn't already know, the Ecstasy condom is my ultimate favorite! My partner usually wears XL or Magnum condoms, but for some reason, the Ecstacy ones are slightly larger than usual Magnum condoms. They are more on par with the XXL. Because of this and the slight upped price on the Magnum ones, we go for the regular size most of the time in the Ecstasy line. It is an excellent condom and a superb large sized condom with plenty of room for friction and lots of ribbing for the gal too!
