Use

If used correctly, condoms can help prevent pregnancy and the spread of HIV/AIDS and other STIs. They're not guaranteed 100% effective but it's a lot better than nothing at all.

Trojan Fire and Ice is a condom that is worn by the male during intercourse. It can be used for vaginal or anal sex. You can also use it during solo play for extra stimulation and easy clean up.

Directions

Fire and Ice are simple to use. You use them as you would any other type of male condom. Simply tear the side of the packaging, pinch the tip of the condom and roll it down. Always making sure that you do not have any air bubbles in it because it may cause the condom to break during sex.

Design/Size/Fit

Fire and Ice are made with premium quality latex that's very strong and durable. Each condom is electronically tested, water tested and air burst tested. All of this to make sure you don't end up with an uh-oh at the end of your session.

The shape of the Fire and Ice condoms starts with the reservoir tip then there's like a pocket-like section that spreads over roughly a third of the condom. It then tapers down for a better snug fit.

Based on my measurements, it's roughly 8" in length, 2 1/4" wide at the head and 2" at the base. I don't own a micrometer but I don't feel that it's especially thick or thin. It feels about the same thickness as a standard Trojan lubricated condom.

I am of average size and it fits me snugly. Often with condoms I need to hold the base whenever I pull out to change positions, but this one I had no need because it was tight enough. The pocket area fit well, it wasn't especially loose on me and did not move around during sex.

Smaller guys would probably need to hang on to the base whenever they pull out to avoid leaving the condom behind.

If this condoms seems like it wouldn't fit you because you are above the norm. Trojan also offers the Fire and Ice in the Magnum XL sized condoms to fit larger penis sizes.

The lubricant that's already added to the condom is called Fire and Ice. It's a dual action lubricant. It is supposed to create a warming/heat and tingling/cooling sensation that can be felt by both partners. It could be exactly what you're looking for to spice things up in the bedroom. There is enough lubricant to last you for a good session but some people might need to add more later on.

Care and Maintenance

Condoms should be stored in a cool and dry place, never in your wallet or a purse. Your wallet will be too hot and degrade the latex. There could be a chance that something might poke into the condom when it is a purse or bag which would defeat the purpose of having a condom.

You should never use oil based lubricants as it will weaken the latex. As a result, you should use either water or silicone based lubricants with these condoms.

These condoms do not have a strong smell to them, there is a faint odor of menthol. It's not an overpowering odor, I find it quite nice. There's also faint smell of latex that doesn't bother me or my partner, unlike some other condoms out there.

When you rub the lubricant on your fingers it doesn't go away and leaves an oily residue. It can easily be washed off with soap and water.

Even though you can use this condom for anal sex, you should be very careful. The lubricant that is added may cause a bad reaction for some people. Maybe try and get a similar lubricant to test out if you like that feeling anally.

Packaging

The Trojan Fire and Ice condoms come in a purple and blue box that measure 5 3/8" X 3 1/8" X 1 1/4". Unlike most boxes this size, this one only contains 10 condoms. Each is individually wrapped with a square shaped foil that measures 2 1/2" X 2 3/8" and is roughly 1/8" thick. They are great for traveling.

The back of the box has a little more information about the condom. It has a picture of the shape of the condom to show you what you are buying. It also contains more important instructions on how to properly use the condom.

Inside the box are more detailed directions on use. There is also allergy warnings and cautions against using oil-based lubricants. They give you additional information on how to store them as well.

As soon as I put the condom on I can feel the warmth and it feels great. As I thrust in I feel the warmth is more intense and when I pull out, the cooling aspect takes over. I find that this is a great feeling and I love it. This feeling only last about 5-10 minutes. Afterwards, I can only feel the cooling part of the condom. It isn't a bad feeling but it was harder for me to get to the big finish.

On the other hand, for my partner, it's 50/50. She is sensitive to some lubricants, as a result the heat/cooling of the condom is sometimes not pleasurable for her. They've been hit and miss with her so we are never sure until it comes to using them. Whenever it is OK for her, she says that she can feel the warmth overwhelmingly and the cooling sensation is more subtle to her. Not only did she feel the heat inside of her, she also felt it externally.

I would say that using these condoms would be like using a mild version of Icy Hot. Afterwards, you might want to take a few minutes for the lubricant to wear off or soak in. As you step into the shower with the lubricant on you, you will feel that the water will turn your genitals into ice. So be careful with that but if you like that feeling then more power to you!

We had ourselves a few session with these condoms and they lasted for the entire time. The lubricant lasted for at least 20-25 minutes and I believe that it could last longer than that. It's perfect for those morning quickies!

Though a standard condom could be paired with a similar lubricant to make your own sensations, these condoms are handy in that it's all packaged up in one. As far as traveling with them goes, there's no need to pack that extra bottle of warming or cooling lube.
