These cuffs are best used for non-suspension restraining. They are easy to use and would suit most beginners as well as advanced fans of being restrained. If you like bigger pieces of jewelry, you could get away with wearing one of these as a bulky bracelet. Its not going to pass for a fine piece of jewelry, but would look great to complement maybe a costume or less formal outfit. I have plans for it to accompany me on Halloween as an accessory to a 90's grunge costume, complete with combat boots and spiked hair. But if your style is more edgy on a regular basis, I think it could really make a nice bracelet. The Leopard Bling cuffs are not meant for suspension, so don't get them thinking you can string your happy victim up from the rafters, but they are a very high quality set of restraints that can be used to securely hold down most users, as well as look and and feel hot doing it. I don't think it would be wise to use the Bling cuffs in an incredibly moist situation, like a shower or a pool, the leather and metal they are made of just don't seem like they are made for it.

The design of the Bling cuffs is very, very sturdy. They have the feel of being very well made and with the right care will last you a while. I'm sure you could find a more expensive alternative that would last forever, but these cuffs, will suit an average user for quite some time. It could be said that they will last you until you'll just be glad to get laid, whether or not you are tied down. The Bling cuffs are made of leather for the cuff and have metal attachments. There is a leopard print stripe of material that runs the length of the cuff. The leopard material isn't a fur-like material, its just a piece of printed vinyl-ish material that easily wipes off with a damp rag or toy wipe.




There are rhinestones that are affixed to the vinyl in a color that isn't closely matched to the brown of the leopard pattern, in fact, it is sort of an off color. The rhinestones seemed to be very securely attached, they stood up to me giving them a strong pull with my fingers, and do not seem to be likely to fall from the cuff except for in extreme situations. They are most likely sewn in and not glued, but you can't see the stitch work on the back side of the cuff because the back is covered in suede.





There is a large range of sizes that will be able to fit in the Bling cuffs, with four different slots that you can adjust the size with. I'm not a petite person, and I wore the cuffs at the smallest setting, so if you are an exceptionally fun-sized individual, you may need a smaller set to meet your needs. It would be possible to drill holes to make the cuffs fit tighter or more loosely, but that will more than likely make the cuff fit poorly.





When laying flat, the cuff measures 14 1/4 inches from one end to the other. Buckled on the smallest setting the diameter of the cuff measures 2 1/2 inches, and on the largest setting 3 1/2 inches. The cuff measures just over 2 1/2 inches wide.

An especially neat feature of this set of cuffs are on the metal buckles. The metal tab that fits through the leather has a loop that can fit a small padlock so that only the person with the key can take the cuffs off. There is also a D ring on each restraint so that you can run a length of rope, small chain, S hook or a fastener from a leash. The D ring is looped under the leopard vinyl, which is sewn into the leather. It is stationary on the cuff, but you can rotate the cuffs on the arms if you need them to be closer or farther together for your set up.








The material that the Bling cuffs are crafted from has the delicious scent of leather that you can smell when your nose is right up to the material. Both the front and back of the leather is soft to the touch and very smooth. The description of the cuffs say they are padded, but if they are, it isn't much at all. The edges are very hard and will leave an indention on your wrists. The stitching on the cuffs is very well done, and the ones we received had no loose strings or stitches that were out of place.

The Bling cuffs exceeded my expectations both in form and function. The pictures of the rhinestones look like they were a completely off color to me, and when I saw them in person, I didn't like them any better. The fit of these cuffs was very comfy and sturdy. I feel like it is important to mention, we used these cuffs as restraints that help my arm up. That being said, the Bling cuffs are not for suspension, they will not hold up well if you try to dangle your willing victim off of something. They are not comfortable when supporting heavy weight. For us, my weight was supported completely on the floor, and only my arms were being held up by the cuffs and it didn't take long for my hands to start tingling from lack of blood flow, and when loosened, my hands slid right out. This wasn't a problem at all when the chain that was holding my arms high was lowered to a position that wasn't so taut or when I was lying down on the bed and restrained. As with any sort of binding you do, make sure you check your partner's circulation often to avoid any damage to their skin, or worse. Because the cuffs have more than just the leather layer, they are somewhat bulky when in use. They aren't uncomfortably bulky, they just don't lay flat and smooth due to the extra layer of decorative fabric and the rhinestones. The rhinestones will catch on clothing, or hair if the situation is right, so use caution in that respect as well.

We found that since the Bling cuffs have a large variety of sizes that can be achieved they can be used as ankle cuffs, and at running the risk of repeating myself, they are not for suspension that way either. If you and your dominated significant other are into particularly long sessions of restraining, keep a close eye on their skin for chafing and marks that the edge of the cuff can leave, especially if they are being held upright by them.

The Bling cuffs are not hard to put on alone (do not restrain yourself if no one is with you, surely you can see the plethora of ways that can go terribly wrong. Every part you have is attached for a reason.) although you will have to use a little force to get the buckle fastened due to the fact that the leather is cut very precisely. This will become easier the more you use them, though. It is, naturally, easier if you are putting them on someone else and not on yourself.

If you find your Bling cuffs in need of a light shower, you can clean them with a mild soap and damp rag. Leather is water resistant, but the back of these cuffs are suede, and repeated or prolonged exposure to water could stain them or cause them to shrink and warp. The outside of the cuffs are much more suited to endure a bit of moisture, as the leather is finished and vinyl is nigh indestructible, as far as water is concerned. The metal on the cuffs has a glossy finish so it is also unlikely to be damaged by a light cleaning every now and then. Leather can not be completely sanitized, but it does have a material safety rating of 7, so as long as you don't insert the Bling cuffs, you should be good to go if you'd like to share the joy of these cuffs with friends. If you happen to get lube, wax or any other substance in between the rhinestones, it can be cumbersome to get into all the nooks and crannies, so be careful.

The Bling cuffs can be unbuckled and stored flat in your container of choice, or can be stored buckled in a circle if you choose. We store them flat in our suitcase of tricks, wrapped in a soft washcloth, just to keep them from getting scuffed.

These cuffs came in a thin, translucent plastic bag, similar to one you would get clothes wrapped in if you ordered them from an online company. The only other packaging is a small, paper tag that has "Ruff-Lust in leather" across the top. There are pictures of models modeling a set of pink cuffs in the background behind a short explanation of the cuffs, but there is no nudity. The texts says: "Pretty in pink, go a little kink. Pretty enough to be worn as a bold accessory, yet serious enough for those times you need to be restrained. Supple suede padded backing ensures comfort, brass hardware endures. Ruff tuff durability." There were no directions included with the package, though they operate like any adjustable belt would.


I'm not sure that the manufacturer felt like making the Leopard Bling cuff their own little tag...

Something that happened to us when putting the Bling cuffs on was when you buckle them and the widest part of the leather meets (at the end of the holes the buckle goes through) when it overlaps, it can pinch your skin. It doesn't happen when you guide the leather to overlap, but if you are trying to buckle it in a hurry and just yank it, it will pinch you.

To me, the Bling cuffs felt a little unforgiving. They were stiff, which I'm sure will pass with time, and the edges pushed into my skin. I liked that feeling for a while, but as I mentioned earlier in the review, I could feel my hands loosing circulation within minutes when they held my arms up high. Probably not even five minutes. However, when lying down, they were comfy and sturdy. It was a lot of fun to feel so immobilized and at my partner's mercy. Though the leopard print and rhinestones aren't really my style (I would've liked them all black with the metal silver colored) they are nice for something that's a little more snazzy looking than your run-of-the-mill black cuffs.
