You're "Bound" To Enjoy It!
If you want to experiment with bondage, I think this is a great place to start. It holds up to repeated use, is easy to store, and at $20, it's the most affordable all-in-one bondage kit that I've ever seen.

Pros
Affordable, durable, non-threatening for newbies.
Cons
Hardcore fetishists might find these to be too boring.
I have a funny story to tell about this kit. I've had a long-running interest in BDSM, and I finally decided to take the plunge and order this. This kit appealed to me because it covered the basics with its four restraints and blindfold, and it was only $20; it seemed like the perfect way to dip my toes into the water. I'm a very private person, and I clam up when it comes to talking about my desires or fantasies. But I was going to be brave and take the plunge! How exciting!
Fast forward to a few days after I placed my order. I was working at my job at Faceless Corporate Giant, when our UPS delivery man walked by to deliver a package to the business next door. He knew me, and all of the other employees by name, and would often stop in and deliver our personal packages while we were at work; so that he wouldn't have to make a separate trip to our homes.
Well, he noticed that I was there, and walked in to hand me a package. I hadn't ordered anything else that week....I knew what it had to be. Eden Fantasys takes great care to package everything discreetly, so my co-workers didn't think twice when it was delivered, but I still felt sick to my stomach. You see, Faceless Corporate Giant has a "package check" policy, where another employee looks through your handbags/backpacks/parcels after your shift is over, to prevent theft.
I spent the rest of the day dreading that my coworkers might ask me to open the box. If they had seen sweet-as-pie, wholesome little me standing there with a box full of kinky shit, I don't think I could have ever lived it down. Thankfully, I was able to bid a hasty retreat after I got off work, and no one thought twice about my parcel!
Fortunately, this kit was worth the nerve-wracking experience. This is a great introduction to simple bondage, easy-to-use, and pretty comfortable. I've owned this for a few years now, and it's really held up. It is basic, and not as sexy-looking as full blown leather cuffs; but it also doesn't cost a fortune. The tethers would be easy to wriggle out of if you wanted to, but this may be a comfort to nervous first-timers. The kit is versatile, but you will need bedposts or something else to affix them to.

Thank you for viewing Beginner's bondage fantasy – light bdsm kit review page!
I, too have some questions though: Along with cleaning did you notice that the nylon started to fade or bleed color? You mention that the cuffs are easy to wriggle out of, does that make them a good toy for beginners in your opinion or does it detract from the toy?
Do they leave marks or are they padded against the skin? How hard are they to attach to the bedposts? Do they leave marks or scars on the wood of the bedposts?
Does the blindfold fit correctly or is it awkward? Can you see light around the side of the blindfold? For some users who are new to blindfold play a bit of light can be very calming, for others it is a distraction and a turn off. Does the blindfold fit snugly or is it comfortable to wear?
For under 20 dollars this set seems a real bargain, How sturdy are the tethers? Do they begin to fray with time? How about the velcro, does it fray with use?
How easy is the whole set to store? Can it be set up easily and quickly?

In Purrgatory: How have I used it? I've been tied to the bedposts many times with it. What might I be able to do in the future? Use it in other areas of the house and affix the ties to other things for a chance of scenery. It's limitations are pretty much just what I mentioned in the review, that the tethers can be wiggled out of, that you need bedposts, etc. Thanks for the input!
spicywife and Alan & Michele: Thanks for pointing that out, great question. I would stick to wiping these down with a damp cloth or handwashing. The tethers themselves I think would be OK in the washing machine, but the cuffs themselves are a soft material and I'm not 100% sure how that would look after a wash. I looked up the product info on the packaging and this page, but unfortunately it doesn't mention if it is washing machine durable or not.
Also, I have not experienced any problems with my wrists getting chafed.
Airen: Thanks for writing! I'll break down my answers to your questions:
1. I have not noticed any fading or bleeding of color so far.
2. I think for beginners, the fact that you could wriggle out of them might be a reassurance. For me, I'd like it a bit better if they weren't "escapable", but as a starter kit it suited my needs well.
3. The cuffs are soft and leave no marks on my skin, which is pretty sensitive.
4. You have to tie the ends into knots around the posts to affix them, so they aren't totally easy to attach. No problems with any marking or damage to my bedposts.
5. The blindfold is comfy to wear, it fits me pretty well but I can detect light through it - for someone who wants complete sensory deprivation, they would probably want a different blindfold.
6. The kit has held up quite well for me, no fraying on the tethers or velcro so far.
7. The set can be folded up quite small and stores easily enough - my toybox is tiny so they get tangled up due to lack of space. You do need a little forethought to set it up, as it takes a few minutes to untangle, affix to bedposts, etc.
Thanks for all the thoughtful questions and the welcome to the community!
