These clamps add a lot of opportunities to diversify our love play. While not the only pair of clamps I wear, they are definitely the most versatile, and the most fun.

Pros
Comfortable, easy to put on and take off, stay in place, awesome cowbell effect
These are designed to be worn on the nipples, although we have experimented a bit with placing them on my scrotum and perineum. I love nipple play, so that's where we generally use them. These clamps seem more geared towards beginners, as the pressure they exert are less painful than other screw-down styles of clamps that I've worn.
This is our first set of tweezer style nipple clamps, and they are quite comfortable. The rubber tips are soft on the skin, and are thin enough to allow placement on either the tip or base of the nipple. This gives the user the option of having a more intense pressure applied to the tip, or a more relaxed sensation at the base.
The clamps are made mostly of stainless steel, except for the key rings which are made of a thinner metal, and the end caps which are a rubbery material. The clamps neither have nor hold odors. The legs of the clamps have no texturing, and feel sturdy in the hand, with a lot of spring in them.
I like the design of these clamps. They are simple, efficient, and occupy a nice niche in our toy collection.
The rubber end caps are held on well, and have never slipped off during use. The weight distribution of the clamps makes them top heavy, which means there is less weight at the bottom to tug at the nipples and cause that "weighty" feeling from chained clamp sets. The weight distribution also allows the clamps to stay in place well. They have come off during rough scenes, but not very often. There is a simple split ring that encircles the legs of the clamps, and this is used to adjust the pressure by sliding the ring up or down.
The clamps can be worn on either the base or tip of the nipple. I have a lot of scar tissue on my nipples from repeated piercings, but these clamps still adjust wide enough to enable a good fit no matter where they are placed.
The bells on this toy are really what set it apart from other clamps. They are loud enough to be heard in a quiet adjacent room, and create a gentle chime every time the wearer moves. It reminds me of wearing a cowbell, and that humiliation creates the opportunity for many different types of scenes.
The clamps adjust via a split ring that encircles the tweezers. Moving the ring up tightens the grip and narrows the tweezers, while sliding the ring down loosens the grip and widens the tweezers.
These clamps are so small that they are very easy to store. We generally keep them in our toy box in a small plastic container with other small toys. If the clamps are going to be stored for a prolonged period of time I'll spray them with a light coat of a corrosion protection spray, such as a gun oil or similar Teflon lubricant.
I generally wash these after every few uses, or whenever they become dirty. Any hand soap or dish soap would be adequate. These clamps are made of stainless steel, which by definition stains less, but still stains. All metal rusts eventually. To ensure that these clamps last as long as possible, I dry them off immediately after washing.
The packaging was pretty simple. It comes in a plastic case which snaps open, with a cardboard insert. The packaging is not very discreet as the Spartacus logo and clamps themselves are clearly visible. The case is small enough to keep for storage, but the clamps themselves are so small and easy to store we just discarded the packaging all together. No directions for use were included.
Safe nipple play should be observed during the use of any clamps. Be sure to remove them every fifteen minutes or so, and check for tissue discoloration frequently. Removing clamps are generally the most painful part of wearing them, and unless you're into more intense pain, be sure to remove them slowly. Warmth can help to ease the pain of removal, and as such I recommend a nice warm mouth and tongue for this task.
These clamps are just fun. I can wear them while having sex, except they are long and thus tend to get in the way when I'm on top. The majority of the time we'll use these clamps as part of a scene, but they are so quick and easy to put on and take off that we can use them around the house spontaneously. The ability to track my movement with bell chimes is a little humiliating, which I'm into. The clamps enable us to have that "in between" time where we aren't really in a scene, but I can still feel like a dominated boyfriend.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it5 months after original review
We don't use these clamps everyday, but they are still a valuable addition to our toy box. There is just something so cool about wearing these little cowbells on my nipples while in a scene, or just being submissive to my fiancee and waiting on her. They are definitely a niche item, but they fill that niche very nicely.
