Y not?
Overall these are a good, simple clamp that work well for most people. Fully adjustable from a slight pinch to a tight bite they have enough range to please just about anyone.

Pros
Adjustable, rubber tipped, great for beginners as well as clamp veterans
Cons
Rubber tips can slip off, don't work as well with small nipples
I've said it before and I'll say it again; I love clamps!
These Y style tweezer clamps are probably my absolute favorite.
I'll admit from the start that they have a few issues. The tips of the tweezers have a rubber cover that is prone to coming off. I don't usually have a problem with it during use, though. Taking them off the rubber will sometimes stick to the nipple and pull free from the tweezer tip - which, to me, is no big deal since I can just stick it back on. Slightly annoying but not enough to deter me from using them.
Occasionally the rings used to tighten them will also come loose, causing a lessening of the tightness of the clamps. Not the greatest when you're close to orgasm and tugging on the chain and you lose that delicious pinch, but it doesn't happen often enough for it to be more than a minor annoyance, either.
That being said, these clamps are still wonderful!
The tweezer tips are, as mentioned, covered with rubber to prevent metal from biting into the skin. The clamps are fully adjustable by sliding the little o ring up higher onto the tweezer. The higher you slide it, the tighter the clamps become. You can go anywhere from a slight pinch that can be comfortably worn for a fairly long time to a tight squeeze that has you squirming and whimpering in delicious discomfort.
The nipple part of the clamps are detachable from the clit clamp, which is a major bonus if you only want a little of a good thing instead of the whole shebang. Using them all, however, can be incredibly fun - especially with penetrative thrusting of either cock or toy. Pulling on them - or having your partner tug and pull - only increases the pleasure. Rather like having your nipples and clitoris pinched or bitten only you can have all three sensations at once!
Applying the clamps is fairly simple on the nipple. You spread the tweezer, line it up how you want it on the nipple and tighten. The clitoral clamp can be a little more tricky. You want to try to get the clit and the hood toward the base of it, not at the tip. At least in my experience clamping the tip of the clitoris can be a very bad, bad, bad sort of pain. Not to mention it won't stay put very well. (Nipples, as well. Clamping further back seems to keep them on better) Lots of lubrication, either natural or from a bottle, will also make the clitoral clamp harder to deal with. Be patient and keep working at it and it'll be worth your while.
Overall these are a good, simple clamp that work well for most people. The chain is cool and sensual as it lays against your body. I often find myself putting them on and wearing them around the house along with my leopard skin balls as a sort of foreplay while I wait for my partner to get home. I can never resist peeking in the mirror to see how pretty the chain drapes and how perky my nipples get.
Whether used as foreplay or during sex or masturbation, these clamps are sure to spice things up!
Cleaning is easy - soap and water do it for me.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
We recently had the chance to try these on small, flat male nipples and found they worked far less effectively than they do on my fairly large nipples. They simply don't have enough to pinch and don't stay on well.

Thank you for viewing Y style with clamp – y style clit and nipple clamps discontinued review page!
Taylor (my partner) once put clovers on me, the tweezers on a friend without the clitoral clamp and strung a leash between us attached to the chains. Then he draped like six, eight floggers on the leash. The clamps stood up to that weight so they definitely can be applied good and tight and secure.
And then sometimes they slide off, particularly if your nipple refuses to stay erect even with them on.
The clitoral clamp tends to slide off more easily, mostly due to wetness, I think.
If you put them on loosely, for just a wee pinch, they're not going to stand up to much. In my experience, the tighter you put them on, the better they stay.
The nice thing is even at their tightest they're not nearly as tight as clovers.
I so dislike the distraction of a clamp coming off during sex. For myself with wetness and lube, I don't see how the clit clamp would stay put during sex or masturbation?
Thanks for the review!
