A very simple, easy to use mask style blindfold that can be used to enhance your pleasure by removing the ability to see and bringing all of your other senses to life. It also works well as a sleep mask, and features a cool tattoo like image of a dragon which ties it in with the other products from the Inked restraints line of products from California Exotics.

Pros
Comfortable to wear Easy to care for Simple to use
A very simple, easy to use blindfold suitable for use in all kinds of sensory play and kinky mischief. It also doubles as a sleeping mask for those who need the black-out effect to get a good nights sleep.
It's small and discreet size make it very suited to travel, you could even wear it on the plane! As it isn't a product that comes in contact with bodily fluids (But I guess that depends on how you use it?) it is suitable to share with not only your partner but other play friends as well.
Simple to use, easy to care for, it's the kind of product that almost everyone could use no matter what their experience level is.
The mask itself is made from a foam core that is covered in a soft, matte finish polyester. The same fabric is used to bind the edges of the mask. To ensure that the mask stays in place whilst being worn there are two thin (1/8") pink pieces of elastic. These are sewn in under the binding keeping them securely in place to help ensure a longer life for the mask. The packaging does claim that it is double stitched, however this isn't true. There is only the one, single line of stitching. Despite this I do think it is very well made and sturdy.
The front features two shiny decals of pink Chinese style dragons, white clouds and tattoo like flames. The same design that is featured on other items from the Inked restraints line of products which includes wrist cuffs, ankle cuffs and a harness.
Size wise the front is 7" (17ccm) wide, and 3.5" high on the sides (where the eyes are covered) and 2.5" where the space for your nose is. Unstretched the elastics are approx 12" long, and they seem to be the perfect length. Together they keep the mask in place and hold it tight enough to get a full 'black out' effect.
I think it is well made and I really like that it is padded. The soft foam core makes it more pleasurable to wear than other similar masks I've tried on. The choice of a matte fabric rather than a silky, shiny one means that this mask is less likely to slip around than its slippery satin counterparts.
This mask may only do one simple job, but it does it well. The soft padded mask and the dual elastics hold it tightly in place and create a complete black out experience for the wearer. Completely removing the ability to see, awakening all of your other senses. Although I'm not personally into bondage I do still enjoy wearing this whilst my partner explores my body, the not knowing what to expect next is a huge thrill! It also works perfectly as a sleeping mask, especially handy for afternoon naps.
It is very easy to put on and fits well. For most people this really is a one size fits all item that would easily fit those with a slightly larger, or smaller size head than mine which is 23" around.
Due to its simplicity there isn't much to do to care for this blindfold. If it is dirty you can simply wash it. It may be fine in the machine but personally I've chosen to wash it by hand so that the foam core doesn't pull away from the edges.
As for storage you can pretty much stick it where ever you like. As it is the kind of item one might expect to find in a bedroom you could easily just leave it tucked under your pillow or in your underwear drawer.
The packaging is quite a bit bigger than it needs to be. The design on the packaging simply features a blonde woman wearing the mask (see the photo below), the emblem for the Inked restraints line of products & the company's logo. Inside the box the mask is floating about with a thin plastic bag covering it, which is more than fine as I can't see how an item like this could be damaged during transit.
It is far too big to be suitable for storage but is very easy to recycle.
A blindfold or mask of this kind has a very simple job to do. Yet numerous products have gotten it wrong. The Inked restraints blindfold turns out the lights, changing midday to midnight, rendering the wearer blind.
I must admit that the only other blindfolds I've tried either involved a donkey that needed its tail to be pinned back on, or they were designed primarily for sleeping purposes. Despite limited experience I think this blindfold completely rocks! It is soft and comfy and does exactly what it is supposed to do. I couldn't ask for more.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it8 months after original review
While this isn't a blindfold suited to those with a deeper interest in bondage for the casual player it suffices. I still use it, albeit as a sleeping mask but it is still a product I'm greatful that I own. I especially love the cute colours and dragon decals printed on it.

This sounds like it might work better as a sleep mask than my current sleep mask. Wishlisted! Thanks!

The foam, along with how well the binding is stitched on really help to make the part over your eyes comfy, and the two elatics mean that any pressure on your head is divided rather than focused on one point.
Whilst Im far from a blindfold aficionado I do think it's well made
Sammi
This is kind of cute with the dragons
Good review!

Wasn't the packaging just odd? I couldn't give this to my friend unless we did it super secret squirrel style!
