If you're new to S&M play or not quite sure what S&M play is, this kit is a good place to start. It's a light-use bondage kit for beginners. The mask, cuffs, and flogger won't won't stand up to heavy tugging or pulling but certainly do their job.

While the leopard print is very cute, this is an inexpensive kit and parts of it are made cheaply.

The Cuffs:
These cuffs are metal with a faux fur leopard print cover over part of the cuff. These are just like the cuffs we got in a "jailbreak" Halloween costume, which is good since the pair that came with the kit were broken. The safety latch was completely broken off on both sides of the cuffs, which made them nearly impossible to open and potentially unsafe because the edges were sharp. In the picture below, I had already removed the fur lining from the broken cuffs and put them on my other pair. There is a small circle around the safety latch on my good pair and where it should be on the other pair.


Pros: The leopard print is cute, they are pretty non-threatening compared to other cuff sets on the market, if the locking mechanism is working they are easy to remove in an emergency.
Cons: These cuffs are pretty easy to bend and break, if you try. Also the fir lining isn't padded and doesn't completely wrap around the wrist, so you can still feel the metal against you. It wasn't horrible, but if you tugged hard enough, you could get a bruise.

The Flogger:
The Flogger is made of vinyl wrapped around a hollow tube. The handle is about 6" long and the tails are about 12" long. There is also a vinyl wrist strap, which is not stretchy but pretty generously sized. The pro and con here is that even with a good swing, this flogger will not provide much of a sting. Even after several good swings, we had no red marks. Instead, it provides just enough to let you know you've been hit with something. It's lightweight and easy to control, and although I think the handle base may be made of plastic, it's really sturdy. The only downside for us was that it had a strong pleather-y smell when we first opened it.

The Mask:
The mask is leopard print fur on one side and black polyester on the other. The elastic is is very stretchy, but returned to close to its original size after we played with it a bit. It wasn't as comfortable as the plush eye mask I already own, but it wasn't uncomfortable. For us, the only negative was that we could always see out of the bottom of the mask. In the right position, we could just see light so it wasn't horrible. However, if you're looking for something that completely takes away sight, this is not it. Otherwise, it's a great first mask.

The fact that the original cuffs were broken on arrival was a bit upsetting. The DH and I very carefully used a screwdriver to pry open the cuffs so we could use the fur liner. Otherwise, the kit it cute and functional. The cuffs are easy to put on and since we experimented with the flogger in advance, we knew it wouldn't be too painful. So far, no other pieces have broken, frayed, or chipped. The cuffs we are using, which are identical to the ones that came with the set, can pop open or slide tighter while in use, so we always put them on a little looser than needed. Since the pieces are pretty small, we can easily hide them in a drawer and pack them for trips.

Simply wipe off the products as needed. The blindfold and fur liner on the cuffs can be thrown into the washing machine, but I've only lined dried them. You can keep the original box to store these in, but we just keep them together in a drawer.

The products came in a sealed plastic bag in the Sex and Mischief box. There were no instructions, but the items are pretty self-explanatory.
