Who's A Sassy Kitty?
The Heart Bat is a cute, high quality piece offered by Spartacus. This bat is great for both beginners and advanced users, since you can easily go from lightly tapping your partner to leaving their skin red and stinging all with one bat. Unfortunately the two leather hearts aren't actually stuck together as well as they could be. I think if they were actually sewn together, the amount of pain this bat could deal would be increased.

Experience
The Heart Bat is excellent when combined with other types of play. It can be used along with a blindfold and restraints. I like the idea of using it along with a strap on and harness. It's easy to vary the intensity of the bat on your partner, especially since this bat has very little air resistance to it. A medium intensity swing will leave a good sting on skin that lasts for a while.

Follow-up commentary
3 months after original review
My heart bat is still hanging around. It's unfortunately a bit beat up looking now. My cats got a hold of it one day when I was sleeping and chewed on it a bit. Actual use has not damaged the bat in any way.
It's a shame that it's currently discontinued. I think it's a lot cuter than some other bats, which makes it much less intimidating looking.
