The Sportsheets Mini Crop Top System features an interchangeable crop top so that you can have multiple crops in one to give many effects to your play. It's suitable for anyone from beginning to advanced, especially those who are looking to avoid leather, but it does not inflict much pain, so if you like high-impact and painful play, you may want to choose something more substantial. This is a downside for more experienced players. The good thing, though, is that with the interchangeable crop top, you can choose tops of the shape and size that provide the kind of feeling you like. It is my understanding that crops are not the best for high impact play across the board, so this should not be too shocking. I prefer a sting, but not to be marked beyond some redness or a small bruise, so the fact that this doesn't cause welts is a plus for me. My partner and I both prefer the style of a crop over a flogger because we share this sentiment. We were really excited to receive this in the mail and used it right away! This is our first crop, and thus far, we both really like it.

For those who like to spank mid-sexual intercourse, a hand or short paddle would be better. This is long and would be hard to use properly with your bodies so close together. It would be best used with partners standing up, or with the submissive leaning against something or even laying over someone's lap. The slapper part itself is meant to be whippy, so it needs to catch some air before it's going to make a sting. Otherwise, it just doesn't work at all, and you will find it useless. If you're only into horizontal play you should opt for something shorter. I assume if you're looking at crops, you're a bit more flexible than that though!

The handle is really nice. It's got this great rubbery feel to it that is very easy to grip even with well lubricated hands. It seems very well made and I think it will last a long time. Sportsheets is very good quality. It's lightweight and very easy to use. I feel powerful just holding it!

The way that the crop top can be removed is very easy. It doesn't screw, it just pops in and out. It takes a bit of pulling, but it's very easy. I'm a bit of a weakling and it's easy for me. If it was too easy though, it would fall out. It's very solidly put together though so that's not that case at all.

It has a light rubbery smell if you smell the handle closely but I didn't smell anything when I took it out of the package. The crop top, made of faux-leather, makes my throat hurt when I smell it, but luckily, I don't have to smell it too much anyway. You can't smell it unless you stick to your nose to it. The faux-leather is slick and clean feeling. As a vegan, it's awesome, but it actually does feel nice. I don't think it will fall apart, and I actually hate the smell of leather, so it doesn't bug me that it doesn't have that.

The Sportsheets mini crop top system performs great! It provides a sting without overwhelming the recipient with pain. It has a great whippiness to it. I am really excited about this! Before my current partner, I was almost solely a dominant, and with my new partner, I'm solely submissive. This crop makes me want to dominate my partner. I feel great when I hold it, and I am definitely going to talk him into letting me top some time soon so I can use it too. It has a nice sting to it. This toy exceeded my expectations. This toy is really easy to care for and store. It could be easily wiped with a damp cloth with no problems, and it's not too long, so it easily fits into a dresser drawer; it's low maintenance.

The fact that the top comes off can also help it fit into your drawer or storage device. I just toss it into my sex drawer in the dresser next to my bed within easy reach so we can grab it whenever we want it. There is no hook on this piece to hang it, but with the way the handle tapers out at the end, it would be easy to attach one yourself made of leather, faux-leather, ribbon or whatever suits your fancy. It could be glued to the rubber, sewn around it or tied.

I asked my partner, who is sitting across from me now, what he thinks of it and if he has anything to say. He described it as having a "pleasant but mild sting," and that he likes how it feels. He enjoys whipping it around just as I do, so we both have fun with this even teasing each other out of sexual contexts. I think it will definitely go to good use!
