For anyone who feels that their sex life may be a bit dim, this pretty gag is sure to add some beautiful color! I suggest this gag for either beginners (with a big mouth to close due to the large size of the ball), those looking to start their adventures in BDSM play, or those who simply want something light and not to extreme. The color and size of this gag are non intimidating for the most part and it can help gently ease an apprehensive partner into the wonderful world of bondage. Though this gag is petty, I would not recommend it for more extreme or advanced users, due to quality issues, which will be explained as this review continues.

The first thing that struck me upon holding my new toy for the first time, was how light the gag was overall, and how big the ball was! I was smitten instantly with the beautiful hot pink ball, and its contrast against the blue straps which are adorned with silver grommets. The other thing I noticed was the smell of the fake leather. To me, the smell reminded me of molded plastic, which is unfortunate, because I love the smell of fresh leather.

I mentioned that this product is made of synthetic leather, which is GREAT if you're a diehard animal lover, but NOT great if you need something tough and sturdy to do the job of silencing yourself or someone else. The faux leather strap (which has a buckle style fastening system) has a fair bit of elasticity, therefore; it is easy to manipulate this gag and push it out with either the tongue or teeth.

Another unfortunate flaw resulting from the use of the faux leather, is with the buckle closure system itself. The give and stretch of the faux leather was supposed to be overcome by reinforcing the head strap buckle holes with silver colored metal grommets. Unfortunately, this was neither adequate or proper reinforcement, and even posed a safety risk.

I have a very small head, and as such, my gag needs to be affixed very tightly to ensure I'm adequately muffled. A fair amount of strain was placed on the strap while trying to tighten the gag from its loosest (24 inches,) to its tightest fitting of (16.5 inches.) The metal grommets which were supposed to provide reinforcement fell out, were found on the floor after the session with my partner, and presented a choking hazard!

I don't even think disappointed begins to describe how I feel about this ball gag. It was absolutely unable to meet my expectations... Aside from its only true value which is aesthetic appeal, this ball gag FAILED MISERABLY! It did not stand up to more than one use... and not only that, tiny metal pieces came off, which could present a choking hazard!

If you decide to purchase this gag, remember that the human mouth can be dirty. It can be a breeding ground for bacteria and anything you put in? Your mouth will have said bacteria on it. Because this is made of faux leather, and has a quality similar to a heavy Spandex, it's easy for saliva to absorb into the strap and buckle assembly! Care should be taken to ensure that not only the gag is sanitized after each play session, but that the strap is cleaned regularly with hot soapy water, then dried thoroughly before storing.

My gag arrived, and I was extremely eager to try it out with my partner! I opened the USPS package and found a plastic container in which the gag was enclosed. I pulled the plastic packaging apart (noticed it was recyclable) removed the gag and put the container in the recycle bin. Though the packaging is a pretty mix of pink and blue,because of the awkward shape of this package, I would not recommend using it to store the gag. Keep in mind also, that the confined plastic container does not allow the toy to "breath," so there is a chance that bacteria could breed if the gag is either put away wet, or put away without being properly cleaned.

My partner and I ended up throwing this gag out, because of the fact that the product fell apart and posed a safety risk! In our play time, safety comes first.
