For those looking for a more playful and sensual experiences with bondage and submission, these are the cuffs for you. Unlike those for heavier scenes, the Love Cuffs are fluffy, have soft furry fabric, and will tantalize those who wear them both psychological and physically. When worn on the wrist, these cuffs stand up to moderately active play, don't bend easily, and lock in place with comfort. There are two ways to unlock these bad boys, with a key or through a little nob, which is a very smart idea for those new to experimenting with restraint. Being a larger man, these cuffs don't fit me, and if they did I imagine I could break or bend the metal, but they were perfect for my partner who has smaller wrists and is less strong.

This set of cuffs, while smooth, are also quite quiet to the ear due to the fake fur on the wrist bands. They smoothly shift up and down the wrist and arm and seamlessly and silently restrict movement. I was able to throw these cuffs into my bag, keep them in my bedside table, and lay them around my bedroom without them taking up much space or being damaged easily. The bright pink color of the swing arms draws your eyes to these cuffs almost hypnotically, leading thoughts to naughty places and possibilities to be reenacted again and again. They can be used alone, or with other toys, be it BDSM related or not. Their flexibility in not being full on leather cuffs allow for them to adapt to the scene, and to be paired up with almost any toy you can imagine.

The Love Cuffs are designed well in my opinion, weighty for fake handcuffs but light/simple enough to be used spontaneously. The metal is nickel-free and smooth as can be, while the fake fur adds a gentle buffer feeling for the wearer. With the fake fur, along with the smooth metal finish, you don't have to worry about sharp edges or being pinched by the metal at all. These cuffs fit wrists fit wrists up to 7" in diameter, or ankles for that matter, and can adjust for wrist width through 9 different settings.

Meant for small to medium people, the chain adds a degree of movement for the arms, and can rotate at the connecting points as well. For a larger person like me, I attempted to wear them and see how much space I had only to find that they didn't fit my wrists and when loosely worn to measure arm spacing my size kept the chain very taught. I think this would be a problem for many larger people as the tighter the fit and the broader your back the more restricted your movements will be in ways that can potentially be uncomfortable or cut off circulation.

Safety for the Love Cuffs comes in two forms in this design, a quick release nob on each cuff, as well as the traditional key release. I like the multiple release option design as it allows for those who might feel uncomfortable being restrained for the first time to take them off quickly, and it also affords those who enjoy the feel but want the release to be a part of the role play to be more authentic.

These cuffs perform well under pressure, and in ramping up the heat in a sexual encounter. Being designed and marketed for sensual side of the sexual toy market, as well as for beginners, there are multiple options to release, the color is stimulating to the eye, and best of all these cuffs actually provide a nice level of restraint. Although these cuffs didn't fit my wookie sized wrists, they fit my partner, who is rather tall, perfectly. She loved the color, the fit kept her hands firmly in place where I wanted them to be, and we were able to ditch them quickly when we wanted to go at it more aggressively and unencumbered by restraint.

Care for the Love Cuffs is minimal and easy. IF you wish to clean them you can simply slip off the fur from each and wipe off with a toy wipe/sanitizer, wash with antibacterial soap and water, or 10% bleach solution. If deciding to wash, be careful to dry well to avoid corrosion. Being metal, the cuffs will stand up to moderate abuse well, though the fur is more easily torn if not careful. There really isn't any material interaction concerns, other than to say if you want to keep your other glass toys safe be sure to gently place these guys in your storage box.

The Love Cuffs came in a rather discreet pretty black box with little notes written all over it, marketing these cuffs as sensual and couple-oriented. The box was well made, could be used for storage if one wanted, and was essentially unremarkable in my opinion. It served it's purpose in keeping these cuffs undamaged and that's enough for me.
