Want a cheap (looking) thrill?
I had high hopes for these clamps, because they looked like they'd fit in well with a medical play scene, but I was let down by the poor craftsmanship and lack of forethought in the design. These may work for you if you have a very distinct nipple shape, but everyone else is going to be out of luck.

not adjustable, parts don't line up, cheap looking
I’m a sadomasochist, and love all sorts of pretty hurty things, so I was really excited to try out my first pair of magnetic nipple clamps.
The clamps are circles of metal with two posts through the center. The posts have magnets on the inner end, and glass rhinestones on the other. The inner diameter of the circle measures 3/4 inches, but when you take into account the magnets, it’s really only 1/2 an inch. From end to end of the posts, the clamps are just a hair under 2 inches across. Also, the circle of steel is 7/8th of an inch tall.
It should be noted that these are not stainless steel, so your cleaning and care will have to be a bit more thorough. Be sure to dry it well before storage, and also, be aware that repeated boilings and/or bleaching may contribute to a degree of fogginess in the toy’s finish.
Now, I have nipple piercings, and they are barbells. So, I tried putting the clamps on while they were still on. This ended poorly for me. The barbels mostly went through, and then got stuck and pulled. Owch. I ended up having to take my piercings out to even put these on. Next came the task of pinching and playing with my nipples til they were hard enough that I thought the clamps would stay on. Only, there were issues. First of all, these clamps do *not* want to stay apart. They’re magnets, and magnets of opposite polarities want to have a dirty, clingy, and hot affair with each other and nothing as trivial as being pulled a half inch is going to stop that. What this means to you, o kinkster, is that the second you let go of the pins to try to pull the nipple through, the magnets pull closed. This sucks, especially if you only have a small bit of your nipple between the magnets when this happens.
I wouldn’t recommend them for male usage, as male nipples are usually smaller. The boyfriend, Bloodhound, was not impressed at how pinchy these were when we tried them on him. Only a little bit of flesh was able to get caught between the two magnets, and it hurt him in a not-good way.
These aren’t the type of clamps you are going to grab out of your toybox to put on to intensify a quick wank. You need another pair of hands and a fair amount of patience to get these on. Also, they may prove problematic during a scene, as I couldn’t get them to stay on my nipples if I was standing up. This may change, though, if you have smaller nipples that fit this type of setup.
I would recommend this pair of clamps if: you have a fetish for sexy industrial-looking sex toys, have smaller nipples than I, don’t have pierced nipples, and have a partner around who is willing to put these on you.

Follow-up commentary

Still hate them, and I have no plans on ever using them again, even on someone I *don't* like. I don't have a masochist in my life who would be interested in using these, because they're so unpredictable and poorly made.
