Cons
Fastening/Unfastening, Not the highest quality, Uncomfortable for long-term use
The Hearts Leather Ankle Restraints are leather and metal ankle restraints designed by PHS International. There also is a matching flogger, blindfold, and matching wrist cuffs as well, but those must be purchased seperately. The cuffs do not include a locking buckle, and they include a single O-ring for bondage purposes. The cuffs are about ten and half inches in length, and they are about two inches wide.
The packaging for these wrist cuffs is pretty basic. It comes in a plastic, blister-pack type packaging that allows you to easily see the restraints through the packaging. The packaging itself really doesn't do much to protect the cuffs, so I do recommend you find an alternative way to store the leather restraints once you've taken them out of the box. The box itself is pretty enough to easily work as a good box for gift-giving, and it makes the cuffs look cute.
The design for these ankle restraints is pretty basic, but it works. The outside of each cuff is made of a stiffer, less-softened leather, and in that leather, cute little red leather hearts were inserted. There's slight spaces between the hearts and the black leather, but as these probably aren't going inside someone, as long as you are careful about the lubricant, they don't really cause any cleaning issues. Inside the cuffs, there's another layer of leather (that feels more like suede), and that layer is much softer. It's not "faux fur" soft, but it's much, much softer to the skin.
The leather on these cuffs is flexible. One of my bigger complaints about most leather restraints is the fact that they are such a pain to put on because the leather isn't softened enough. That's not at all a problem with these. The cuffs move around and fasten extremely easily around the ankles. The only downside is that the softened-leather material on the backside of the cuffs does create a bit more "drag" than usual leather, so it takes a slight be longer to fasten or unfasten these. That's a minor complaint, though.
These Heart Leather Ankle Restraints should fit a variety of ankle sizes. The ankle restraints vary widely in what size they do. If you have very, very large ankles, I'm not sure these will fit you okay, but for those with average or smaller ankles, these will work fine. I'm a plus-sized girl, and the ankle restraints fit easily on both my ankles as well as my wrists, so they are versatile enough to work for most people. The cuffs are a bit over ten inches long, so that should give you an idea of what sizes it will fit.
In terms of comfort, these ankle restraints are pretty good. After lots and lots of play (if you squirm and move the cuffs a lot), the ankle restraints can get a bit itchy. However, they aren't too warm and don't really cause sweating, and they're pretty comfortable on the skin. The edges of the ankle restraints aren't itchy which is great, and the O-ring makes an awesome jingly noise anytime your partner moves. The cuffs can get a bit uncomfortable if worn for very long periods of time where weight is pressed onto a hard surface (for example, if you were wearing these while laying flat on a wood table), but for regular sexual use, the cuffs work just fine.
In terms of how durable they are, the Heart Leather Ankle Restraints should hold up to quite a bit of rough play. The leather seems pretty strong, and no matter what I do, I haven't been able to break the metal portion away from the cuffs. If you play rough, these leather cuffs should be able to keep up with you. However, the quality doesn't seem to be quite as high as other types of leather cuffs. The metal portion of the cuffs has some scuffs on it already, and I'm worried that the heart portions might end up falling out with intense use over long periods of time. For the price, though, they definitely hold up to my durability expectations.

Experience
To clean these leather cuffs, you'll want to use a slightly damp washcloth to clean the leather. As you can't really sterilize leather short of allowing the bacteria and such to die over a period of time, I recommend keeping these cuffs to fluid-bonded partners. As leather doesn't particular enjoy being wet or messy, I also recommend that you try to avoid getting the cuffs wet or lubricated as well. For storage, leather usually likes to be somewhere where it can "breathe", but aside from that, you pretty much can keep them whereever is comfortable for you.
If you want some affordable leather ankle restraints, the Hearts Leather Ankle Restraints fit the bill. They are very affordable, have other products that match them perfectly, restrain really nicely, and hold up to rough use. They're pretty comfortable, and if you want to try some bondage, I definitely recommend these Heart Leather Ankle Restraints as something to try out.
