These were my first restraints and I love them. I picked them up as ankle restraints and they fit well (I have rather large ankles for a female). They do leave a bit of a red mark, but that is because I was not using them as designed. When used as wrist restraints they left no marks. I was able to pull fairly hard with no loss of grip and they stayed tightly hooked. To clean them I threw them in the washer, then let them hang in the closet so my son could not ask what they were. They seem to be very well made. I've had them about 4 months now and they are still holding up well. The Velcro does not hold as tight as it use to. I can pull out of them now if I really try, but it takes a while and often leaves my wrists red from the effort.

Since these connect to themselves (cuff to cuff), we used a spare piece of rope to connect them to the bed. The buckle held fast and still does. When using them as handcuffs I can unhook the buckle with minimal effort. I prefer a more restrictive toy, but these were a great start to learn my limits and the price could not be beat, except perhaps by rope. BE cautious if you decide to pull your partner close using the nylon between the cuffs, my partner almost fell off the bed, literally, when I tried that.

These are good for light restraint. The cuffs have no smell that I noticed, nor do they seem to hold smells. Ours had an accident with some essential oil and after being washed had no odor left. I would recommend these to anyone wanting to dip their feet into restraint for either themselves or their partner. I'm still trying to test them on my partner, hopefully someday.

I have not had much time to use these in the almost 8 months I have owned them, but anytime we are looking for restraints these are what I grab out of the box of magical sex toys. I also found they can help holding my legs up if I am on my back. Being overweight and out of shape, this is a plus.
